Thank you so much 😀
Very useful ✨
Since I started watching your podcast my English language skills are increasing slowly but certainly.
I found your channel not BOG STANDARD🤭.( bog standard : is what I learned today watching your podcast ✍️)
Thank you so much.
Have an excellent brighter day.
Thanks Lofti, that’s great to hear. - Steve
Hi Steve
Hope you are in great shape. I've just made a story to use the phrasal verbs and idioms i have learnt today. I hope you like the story and any corrections will be welcomed.
Thanks a lot from the bottom of my heart!!
I was going to knock up something because I didn't have much time before Steve's English lesson. When I was pouring the milk into my cereal bowl, it came out in lumps. Oh... crikey, it had gone off even though the expiration date was still valid. It really put me off, and I wasn't in the mood to eat anything. I said to myself there would be some bangers left and thought I could make a butty. I didn't feel very peckish and I don't have greedy guts either. It was a bog standard butty I made: no chips or even any sauce on it. I watched one of Steve's videos while munching on the sausage sandwich. I nipped out to the shops to buy a bottle of milk and get some bits and bobs, including a margherita pizza for dinner. I was waiting for the change. However, the cashier gave me £2.50 in change. I told her that she gave me less change and added that I gave her a £20 note. She looked at me strangely and insisted I gave her a £10 note. I wasn't in a great mood because of the way she treated me. It dawned on me that she thought I was a dishonest person. So I had to defend my integrity and demanded that she check the CCTV. The manager was called in, and he authorized his co-worker to give me the rest of the money with a sincere apology at once. He asked me if there was anything else I needed. I responded that was all and thanked him. His co-worker still doesn't know I am the manager's lifelong friend.
Hi Sophie, I love it. You used the expressions very well but "greedy guts" is used as a noun to describe someone (or yourself) so you can't have greedy guts rather you would say "I wasn't a greedy guts". But it's a really good job well done Steve
Thanks a lot teacher
I really enjoy this vedio ❤
You are great
Very interesting and useful ❤
Thanks Hasan 👍
To sound like a Brit, I think all non-native speakers should watch your lessons because your lessons are sound as a pound.
Love this 🫶
Is it possible to get pdf with for all the lessons?
I will try to start doing a pdf in a few days. 👍
You forgot to tell to sgt Pepperoni your address: where did he deliver your pizza?😅
I’m a regular caller, so they recognised my voice and phone number so they knew where I lived 🤣🤣
I know that’s a bad explanation but it’s the best I can think of Stefano 😉
@@SoundBritish thank you so much for your congeniality. Your lessons are so useful and pleasant for me!
Cheers buddy, it’s good to know your here. Thanks for your support. Steve

👍 Pet Love 👍
You order at Sgt Pepperoni's pizzas, don’t be daft...I hope you won’t find any "beatles" as toppings 😂 Thanks
I was waiting for someone to notice 🤣🤣
Thank you Steve for your new video! It was very interesting and useful as always. Your lessons really float my boat ⛵❤
Happy to hear that Ellena 🌻
Great as always!❤ For me there were two unusual expressions I’ve never heard before. You said ‘do you feel like chips’ not do you want or fancy…. and ‘going to be in the region’ instead going to be here. It’s interesting👍 Thanks
Thanks chuck, I missed those. You are absolutely spot on that ‘feel like’ is used exactly as ‘fancy’ but ‘in the region of ’ means ’close to’ or ‘near’ . So ‘6.55 is in the region of 7’ or ‘St Petersburg is in the region of Moscow’
@@SoundBritish Got it❤️ Thank you
I already decided to watch your channels ,so thanks
Awesome, thanks Mohamed, it’s good to know you’re here - Steve
