As a professional mechanic of 45 years I love watching shade tree (even if you have a garage) mechanics doing things like using a 1/2" impact wrench with no impact socket breaking their regular socket and expecting it to be replaced by the Snap-On man. Try using a smaller electric 3/8" ratchet or even a 3/8" impact wrench. Try using impact sockets. You probable over-torqued every single bolt and stretched it. They look like Grade 3 to me. Try using thin wrenches (yes they make them). Try replacing the nut with one from your nuts & bolts supply, or just buy a couple extra before you start the job. Nuts get lost. Don't waste time looking for them. Time is money.
I have had a warranty job that only paid 15 minutes to complete. I dropped a SnapOn 14 mm impact swivel and didn’t hit the ground. My lift was tied up so I had to drive around the building, raise up and hunt with a lamp, magnet on a stick and a claw type grabber. After 20 minute I saw it thru a slit in the crossmember frame section and get it out. So I spent almost an hour to do the repair & find my socket. There was no way it was leaving with my socket laying in there. Lost my ass on that job but have the socket! Oh well! Sometimes they float and can’t get them to flush down! The way customer service works today, they don’t know, it not their department, they don’t have access. Then you ask them to transfer you and the phone goes dead as they hit the wrong button! Try, try again! Never giv up when you know you are right! Sweet job Pete & Minnie. Blessings and stay safe while biking. A portion of the video showing the mountains made me think of the movie “ET” and the kid and bicycle pedaling thru the air with the moon behind them. Look, there’s Pete flying! WoW! Just having fun! God is in your work!
it can't be done says someone I say nothin to it just do it where there a will their a way make it happen Great Video Pete sure like to see the HFT stud gun review still waiting since last year lol take her easy
18 millimeter wrench. Box or open. Mark 4” inches up. Bend the wrench at the 4” mark. Perfect L 45* bend. It will fit down and up on all 4 nuts. And it will also stick back inside the hitch once it’s being mounted on to put the nuts back on with. I posted a quick tip vid under my name.
It's a hitch receiver and it's a pain in the REAR! NOw make sure to check out the MERCHANDISE SHELF above this comment and help support Minnie The Body Shop Girl and her Surgery she's getting ready to have... God Bless and Thanks!

Some times PETE YOU should weld a little 3 4in peice of 12 g wire to the nut fir hard to reach areas ?
If I was to watch this video with closed captioning I feel like it would be in ALL CAPITAL TEXT.

I’ll get it made asap.
I want to see the LaSalle mountain run, please upload, thanks Pete..
There’s a short version of it already loaded up.
Re weld the piece you cut back onto the bumper lower at the bottom. It looks flimsy without it
It’s not flimsy. It’s bolted tight to the body frame structure
Is LaSalle the same mountain that produced the Charlie Brown Christmas tree? Where Santa was reading Sammie the riot act?
Yes. That’s the place where Santa is lost and hiding in a cave somewhere
