If the raiders don't draft one of the top 4 qbs they will never be a perennial playoff team they will be mediocre maybe with a once every 6 years visitors in the playoffs as you been seeing the raiders lost to the colts because the NFL had no plan to have o connell taking up a playoff spot so they penalized the raiders out of the playoffs and the NFL ruin the raiders chances to get a top qb in the draft... bo nixs jj mccarthy are not super bowl caliber qbs neither is Justin fields or Russell Wilson...theirs a reason why the NFL puts the raiders in no mans land every year and the reason is mark davis unfortunately all the bad mouthing over the years has made everyone hate mark and the NFL wants him to sell the team to a bigger name and theirs no way the NFL will allow mark to hoist a trophy and this is another reason why the raiders never end up with a super star qb which makes no sense how mark wants big name coaches but never talks about big name qbs when we all know what drives every team its your qb...for all the brock purdys or tom bradys, Russell Wilson when he was at the top of his game everyone thinks they can have on their team they don't account for all the hundreds of 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th rd qbs that never became anything and that out ways the 3 or 4 qbs over the last 21 years that became great as a late rd pick.. raider fans want to say its a crapshoot to move up and get a top qb but its 98% more so with later rds...just think the NFL was missing like 8 starting qbs what happens when those qbs come back and a lot of backups played just as good as o connell or even better the raiders will even sink lower next year without a great qb theirs a reason why the raiders don't become aggressive its because secretly under the surface without anyone's knowledge the NFL have their next qbs coming out of college they want to see succeed and they Don't want mark davis winning like that so they make sure these qbs go to other teams i really believe that's what it is...no one in the league holds on to a qb like carr for 9 losing seasons with 6 different coaches every coach that takes over a team wants their own qb and the raiders wasted 9 years repeating insanity...those are your clues

They are in the visitors' locker room at the Chiefs stadium, and each locker has the Raiders shield, on a silver background and with the number of each of the players. That did impress me.

AP might not be the best offensive or defensive mind, but he sure as hell is the best at unifying the locker room. He was handed just about the worst hand a HC can get dealt. Divided locker room, mid season coaching change, and a broken mentality. This man turned the whole thing around.
Sure, we had our bad games with him as a head coach, but we had some of our greatest ones as well. Biggest win in franchise history (against a division rival, no less), a Christmas win over KC, and extending our streak to 8-0 over Denver. If that doesn’t earn him the job, then I don’t know what he would’ve had to do otherwise. He has earned the right to compose his own staff and not use a hand-me-down offensive playbook and a rookie OC.
AP is the path forward, he brought the grit, determination, and will to win back to the Silver and Black. Harbaugh would be a great choice, if we didn’t already have the man for the job in the locker room already.
As AP said: “Ill Intent. Violence. Physicality.” and “We don’t want to be liked, we want to be respected.” If that’s not what Al would want, I don’t know what is.

Mark Davis better not mess this up. It’s simple.. hire AP. The organization has failed time and and time again trying to hire “ the big name “ coach. Why not take a chance on someone who isn’t a “ big name “ that has changed the dynamic of the team completely ? What does the organization have to lose ? We already have been waiting for 2 decades for success. If they fail with AP at least you would have tried both sides of the coin. Don’t make the same mistake again Mark. Raider nation forever.

It’s good to see Marcus Allen in that Raider locker room. Him and Al Davis hated each other but he still loves the Raiders.
It’s not always about just X’s and O’s. You have to know how to lead men from all backgrounds, and AP is very capable. He’s walked that path and faced plenty of adversity in life and he’s proven over and over again, that he’s relentless and that reflected to our Raiders team who was down and out halfway through the season and when AP took over, he brought that spark and revived what was expected to just get by the rest of the season but he put his stamp on this team. AP will bring championship caliber team for the Raiders and I hope we don’t pass up on this opportunity and hire this man. Raaaiddddderrrrsss!!!
