Tigress Madhu @ Tadoba (Dewada-Adegaon buffer zone)

  • We spotted Tigress Madhu resting at the riverbank in Dewada-Adegaon buffer zone at the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. Note that the video was shot with a SLR camera with a zoom lens from a distance of more than 700 meters. The tigress was resting peacefully possibly after a heavy meal. This video was recorded on 16th March 2024.

    she looks very big for tigress

      I'm not a wildlife expert. We just happened to spot this tigress on one of our Safari's. The licensed guide who was with us spotted and identified the big cat as tigress Madhu. I noticed that every tiger and tigress has a name and guides are easily able identify the animal from the stripe pattern which is unique.

    Leave it alone. You don't have to constantly clicking your cameras when it is relaxing.

      As I have already mentioned, our Jungle Safari jeep was at a distance of more than 700 meters and we did not disturb the animal.
