I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Full blast is awesome sauce, but if you use it on full blast too often, it may cause speaker damage, so IMO, 70-80 percent of overall volume would do the trick too.
