It was a good day for us all.Lot's of friends gathering plus many visitors making for a good turn out..The little Hunslet ran like a ticking clock all day,she is a fantastic loco......Best wishes Chris.
It was lovely meeting members that we have not seen for a long time,plus we opened up for the public which got in some much needed revenue..As Rosie and I were so busy we didn't get much chance to video away from the station area..The system will run a lot smoother when the new point is fitted allowing trains to pass by the station. Bostik didn't even get a drive...Best wishes Chris and Rosie

It was manic Graham. I was the first on pulling passengers at some times I just couldn't cope.For some reason nobody wanted to join in pulling the public.Eight steam and four battery loco's attending..Great day.....Also much needed revenue for the club...The 9f is a very much worked on Winson. They do run well when sorted....Happy New Year..... Chris and Rosie.
The 0-6-0 at the beginning has many resemblances to the Bassett Lowke / Henry Greenly locos..... Is there any background info to the loco that I could request if possible please? As we once owned one of them and has many similarities to the loco featured..... We can't seem to track our old one down! Keep up the epic uploads Chris and many a well wishes to you and Rosie for 2022!
Hi Steve...Many thanks for your kind comment....The 0-6-0 is a Bassett Lowke,it is owned by the driver seen in the film.He has owned it a few years..It has just had a new steel boiler and a total strip down/restoration and repaint..She looks lovely now.This was only it's second steaming since the rebuild so hasn't bedded in yet...We also own what we are told is a B/L but with the side tanks and the back of the loco removed and a tender fitted..You will find Hurricane on our videos...Northampton & D.M.E.S are holding a Bassett Lowke get together on May the 14th, this may bring out some new to me B/L,Henry Greenly loco's and also your old model......Best wishes Chris
