PARUPPU USILI /பருப்பு உசிலி செயல்முறை - Protein rich, good for bones - Plain, Easy and Simple Usili

  • In this video, we will explain how to make paruppu usili (பருப்பு உசிலி).
    Ingredients:
    1. Toor Dal: One Cup
    2. Chana dal: 3 spoon
    3. Yellow Moong dal: 2 spoon
    4. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tea spoon
    5. For Tadka: Coconut oil, Mustard seed, Urad dal and curry leaves
    6. Salt as needed
    7. Red chilli 3 to 4 pieces
    Procedure:
    Please soak Toor dal, Chana dal and Yellow moong dal in water for atleast 3 hours. After 3 hours drain the water. Transfer the content to the Mixi and add 3 to 4 red chilli, salt and Turmeric powder and grind it to medium (Not fine) in Mixi. Now please steam the grinded dal for 10 minutes.
    Please transfer the content into a plate and splinter (break it). Place a kadai and add coconut oil. Once oil is heated please add mustard seed, urad dal and curry leaves. Transfer the dal and mix it. Now it is ready to serve hot!!!
    Take the medium grind paste and steam it for 10 minutes.
