Unbelievable that she show first premiered 43-years ago! I remember it well when I was 13. Fridays was hilarious, but no real competition for SNL that is still on today.
It wasn't a terribly funny skit. Like, I could see it if it was centered around a celebrity host that was known to be an arse in the press, but not someone as unique and kind as Shelley Duvall.
Its actually very sad to see her today, look on UA-cam, there was a vlogger (Grimm Life Collective) that recently did a video clip with her. She is in a new horror movie, hope it helps her situation.
