Ah, I love it when folks invest time and energy for sharing knowledge, so thanks for that :) As for the topic of transfering items, my list goes like this: 1. Mitsuko (I just love her and the way she plays the piano). 2. My midnight emissary butterfly for that nice combat buff (also, pretty and rare :)). 3. The pyramid I managed to trade because a) I like the potions I can make with that and b) there is no way of getting it in a pve scenario. 4. Propably my 5/4 pyro dino, I am a pyromaniac by heart 🔥❤and play a pure fire build, the dinos ai is horrible and its aiming sucks but WHEN it hits the amount of damage is insane ^^. Also, cute! But that is about it, maybe a good tool like the best pickaxe or drill. Advantage of pickaxe, you can chop wood with it too. For digby and beaver I see no need (yet) because they are only needed if you are lazy, I often found myself not even bother to empty their storages. The bunnys might be a choice, the fetch-a-lot is high on my list because gathering seeds can be a pain, the lethal one on the other hand is also a lazy pick. Because hunting was no problem so far. So basicaly, my criteria are 1. must be very useful 2. hard to get. Digby, beaver, cube, bees, paperdolls may be useful, but they used to be super easy to get. Rainmen on the other hand are useful and were difficult to get so I guess I will bring one over too. Oh, and what was not mentioned yet: Good calibrations! Once I have my high tier, calibrated boomboom, I for sure want to give it a good calibration! :) 🔥 In my experience, 20k is more than enough, I think I have 3-4k left from last season I did not even spend :D
I agree, besides the core deviants like the wolf, lethal rabbit, beaver and digby boys, I’m not planning to bring much else besides the advanced electric rock drill across with me on day 1 when I make the move. The flexibility of being able to bring more on a need basis later it great, I remember moving a load of stardust source in the first phase to help with some weapon or armour enhancements, and ultimately I think I still have almost half my allowance left as I finish up this season.
I prefer to transfer as needed. With my chain saw and drill I never felt the need for digby and the beaver since I would always find one pretty fast. Though I agree they are nice to have on hand for afk farming. I only care to bring food farming deviants, deviations that I can craft whim potions with or maybe eels. The new securement cells at settlements often give out the cube so I no longer have to worry about that and if you plan right with friends, it’s even better for everyone to bring a little of something that everyone can distribute among each other 😊
I'm only bringing either Gel or Wolf at level 5, and adv chainsaw + adv drill. Anything else can be bought later when need. At the start of the game, you won't even need deviation that much, but I prefer Gel to save on Activator, or Wolf to fight faster. Both can be ignore if you want to save points. The only thing you can't go without is Adv Drill and Chainsaw. 1 chainsaw is enough for the 1st phase, while I actually broke 3 adv drill in my 1st phase mining stuff. Just bring 1 adv drill, then replace it when it's broke. So, keep in mine. BRING ONLY DRILL AND CHAINSAW, and ONE OF EACH. Everything else is less important and can be bought over later.
One thing I decided to be taking after the prismverse is a Lvl 5 glove for capturing deviants. Nothing sucks more than finding a level 5 deviant with green gloves.
That’s actually very clever, don’t even need to equip it besides for the deviant capture moment. I had a gold digby pop for me in my first minute of the season and rock, and with a 0.1% chance I couldn’t get it and it took me weeks to find another. This would have presumably solved that.
Thank you for sharing this. I will probably include 2-3 canned seafood oils or maybe some Moral seeds or Aloe Vera seeds on my checklist, as well as some of the tier 3 Cortexs.
Yeah I was going to go into "if this then that" but I find I only take cortexes and seafood in oil when really needed. And with the amount of Elites in settlements, I doubt cortexes will be a problem
I'm going to take a level 5 paperboy and level 4 H37. Theory is they will get me some higher level materials in time for me to make the next tier of gun before even entering these areas. I won't be using digby or beavers as the right drills make it all so super quick. Definitely bringing a few lethal and fetching bunnies. If I can manage to save 8,000 points, I'll consider transfer of a calibration 10 gun, to save resources.
From the testers in CN, they said Lethal is not worth bringing as it only gather raw hide and not the specific skins, but of course it was on test servers so it is subject to change, and you always need food...
golden digby for early on passive tungsten/aluminium ore, but not necessary. black fetch a lot for passive acid(20/day) moondiamond cat for amazing energy regen(no longer need rebecca, but makes her optional) atomic snail(for air dash) green thumb growshroom if growing a lot of plants(passive acid presumably) remaining points willbe used for a torch to get around faster early on, and any left over will be used for a paper doll deviation silver gentleman nutcracker to regen mood for deviations
I wish the game itself were more reliable. I took a few deviations from the eternaland under the assumption that the info was correct but ended up finding a small chunk of those deviations in the wild anyways. Been trying since server open to find me a rabbit with no luck. Trying to breed alligators but I gotta remember to put them away during refinement.
@@RealMrKraken thank you! I just got a 1-5 rating from the beach, a follow up question, do skill rating effect the rabbit? like if the skill is higher, they bring back better hides, or more hides? I understand that's the case for bees (higher skill, higherr chance of mutation)
I will take the same thing as i did before 3 lethal rabbits, 2-3 shrooms , 3 bees , 2 beavers , 3 digby , 1 chefo , some morel and aloe seeds + drill and chainsaw.
If you get tungsten right off the bat the Golden Digby isn´t needed I guess but nice for that passive steel. I am not much of a farmer but wood is very easy to get in piles, never felt the need for a beaver, a standard drill and a standard chainsaw are my go to methods for farming but I have relied a lot on Digbies for passive steel, mainly for bullets. Not a min/maxer, steel bullets do the job. 2 Golden Digbies to start with, chainsaw, drill and the ability to teleport others. The rest will be dependent on how the scenario provides materials, if the bunny can´t fetch new hides I see no need for it.
Basically take what you took to the 2nd season, High level deviations are the best saves you farming them again. With the number of people that I would say are cheaters they make several alts to get more things to transfer so they can transfer their +10 weapons etc almost makes the point pointless.
I wish they would sell animals on Eternaland store so it wouldn't look dead and I could make a zoo. Just add a requirement that you have captured that animal before outside of Eternaland. Including fish that aren't there yet. Same with deviants so I can have a hundred of them hanging out in Eternaland, like Ash Ketchum capturing 30 Tauros and never using 29 of them, leaving them for Prof Oak to worry about. 😂
Never felt the need for a chainsaw or beaver since your need for mass amounts of wood falls off after your first week. My Basic Pack goes: 1 Treasure Hunter Drill, 1 Combat Deviation for your build (Pyro, Maiden, Llama, Jellyfish, Gel, whatever), 3-5 noncombat deviations (I go with H37, Harveseed, Frog, and Pup Buddy), 1-3 Canned Seafood in Oil, and 3-5 rare seeds like Aloe or Peppercorn. That still leaves me with around 12k points to spare with everything I need for farming, and if my cali luck is trash then I can transfer my weapon from last season to guarantee good damage, or bring a cali I wanna try and still have a ton of points to spare.
7 Bees, 1 Shroom, 1 Cube, 1 Rebecca, 3 Silver Nutcracker, 1 Chefo, 1 Festering Gel, 1 Lethal Rabbit, 1 H37 and the rest of the points will be used as needed.
Are eels needed for the new scenerio? And yeah i figured out what im bring i had to farm the beaver today before the 17th so that was a pain Drill and Chainsaw are best if your about and beaver for passively farming wood
