Back in 2014 I recorded a number of songs by The Shadows as a present for my Dad. They were one band that we both liked, and it was also a lot of fun to do. It wasn't easy trying to make songs like Wonderful Land and Atlantis sound like they had an orchestral backing when all I had was a Yamaha primary school keyboard. I recorded them lo-fi too - on a Tascam DP32 as I didn't have a DAW at that time. It gave me a whole new appreciation of Hank Marvin's gorgeous fluid playing, of which mine is a pale imitation! I enjoyed it in any case, and here they are collected together on my channel. Thanks for listening.
