This is 1 of my many favorites songs from Loose Ends ! This song helped me to heal from a traumatic health condition now I’m much better thank you guys so very much for remaking this song ! God Almighty Bless you guys Always !
Beautiful version of the original recording from Dexter Wansel. Love it since 1985 when it was re-recorded! It was love at the 1st audition! Love Loose Ends!
I was in junior high school making that transition to Highschool in 1985 things were simple in my world being a teenager inspite of the beginning of crack era and the damage it would do I think back how different things were days gone by
Great cover of the Dexter Wansel Philly classic with Nick Martinelli at the helm working his magic in the Philadelphia studios where this was recorded, with Jane Eugene on lead vocals
Loose ends straight out of London town the best band too come out of the uk without doubt it showed u yanks we also had flava here don't get me wrong i grew up on sos band and all the other wicked band's stateside but a band too come out of my city and smash it the way they did makes me proud and for me they should of been global superstars but didnt get the full recognition they deserved.
Yea this is a beautiful song,we tried to play this in high school but we couldn't match it lol...maybe because it was synthesized lol.let me tell you this group was ahead of their time!!!
love loose ends but i love the original version best but if i got to hear it somewhere else loose ends definatly knows how to capture the smooth jazzy flow of anything!!!! !
Props to Dexter Wansel for the original, But They (Loose Ends) tore this cover up....They DID NOT OUTDO the original but they complimented it TO THE FULLEST
That's a matter of taste. Dexter's version was a more mid-tempo, disco groove, where Loose Ends' version is a quiet storm classic. I prefer Loose Ends' version.
@@careyconley4690 Agreed , Terri Wells on Dexters version has a great voice but its a little over-sung but that was the sound in the late 70s when disco was still hot. The Loose Ends version is more on the romantic side and fits the lyrics better. . Both tracks are great and I played Dexters version like crazy as well as Loose Ends.
Loose ends a legend of black music, lives in 2024. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hands down, one of the best albums I’ve ever owned 👍🏿

Not really a good idea to compare it to the original, but it's not a bad cover

Dexter Wansel's version (original) sounds way better
That's a matter of taste. Dexter's version was a more mid-tempo, disco groove, where Loose Ends' version is a quiet storm classic. I prefer Loose Ends' version.
I love both , but on dexters version, when Jean wales my baby yeah, whew does something to me.
