I wish my landcrusier 100 was too new to restore. Also for some reason it is almost impossible to find a garage that does restoration jobs like this here in Czechia. Looks like in the USA restoration is pretty common thing - is that illusion?
@Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers really work on opening up with the 100 series. Definitely interested in the head unit solutions you came up with for that issue.
Interested on the hood alignment bit: I've got the opposite issue, lets call it and underbite. My hood lines up with the sides, but it doesn't reach the edge of the bib. The body mounts were changed though, might the issue be the new pucks? Should I sand down the pucks?
@@procruiser I'll check! That might be an issue. This truck is in pretty rough cosmetic shape but the hood and bib used to line up prior to dissasembly. Maybe I missed that. Thanks a million, you guys are awesome. I'd love to send you a truck one day, judging by your standards on body patches and such, you wouldn't dare say my 40 is restorable lol.
You need to take the surrounds to the key on the rear door off and lose it. Not a real 100 series if it still has one. They all fall off, at least in Australia.
As a Mopar guy at heart(meaning OEM restoration is our go to) my vote is OEM. Keep it blue!!
👍👍👍

I want one!
Paint the engine block body color.

Do you have the factory bib shim between the bib hinge and the frame? If you don’t then start with that. Then maybe start to change the body mounts.
