Exactly, PS3 had a rough start and they turned it around tremendously over time. I grew up with a PSone & PS2, and migrated to Xbox 360 because I liked the look of Mass Effect. Now that EA publishes that series it's pretty much guaranteed to be multi-platform and I have no need to own an Xbox One. PS4, I'm coming home.

"I did however find the amount of cut scenes frustrating" I absolutely agree, it spoiled the experience for me at certain parts as I'd finish watching a 20 minute cutscene, anticipating gameplay, to be approached with another cutscene. It was a phenomenal game though.

They didn't do an incredible press conference. They just play it safe and make improvements only on the side that really matters to gaming. The actual console is more important than the presentation and press conferences. The Play Station was always the better console that I could not afford because of higher price and lack of easy modding. The fact that it's now at the same price or cheaper just makes it even more attractive.
They clarified that he was mistaken, it's still in the works! Sony have never made a bad first party game so I at least will always have faith in their games.
With the PS4 you get a console run by a company who is not AS manically money crazy, it has a GPU that is 50% more efficient(PS$ has a lot more shaders than the xbox), 20 exclusive titles in the first year, doesn't require a camera to watch and listen to your every move, isn't watered down with TV AND SPORTS bullshit that my TV already does, and is completely focused on GAMES. I would buy an Xbox One if I could only find a reason to. But the PS4 can do everything it can do and more for$100 less

This current team is likeable, approachable, genuine, actually listens to gamers and has brought fresh wind to Sony. They did a complete 180. And let's not forget THE MAN above them all - Kaz Hirai.

I like jack because all the answers he gives are rock solid answers and he's a very good speaker, he doesn't beat around the bush and evade some of the concerns of the consumers
mircosoft is actually doing some pretty cool things that no one even wants to talk about. if you have gold on one console everyone that plays on that console will have gold. if you buy a game anyon eunder your family plan up to 2 people can simultaneous play the same game single player only ofcorse and the other six people can play any of the games in your library 2 per game. if one person buys dlc you all receive the dlc in the family plan its prety crazy stuff
And the reason I used Dollars is so it was easy to see the overwhelming price difference. $399 US vs $546 UK, shows a stark contrast. But $399 US vs £349 UK makes the difference look negligible. It is difficult to show a price difference by using two different currencies because one denomination of a particular currency can be worth more than the other. For example $1 US Dollar is worth ¥94 Japanese Yen.

Hows the hell, Sony is not region locked, no DRM, free games with psn+, no online requirement. If i jump into a next gen console it will be a PS4 (my 1st playstation.)
