I absolutely LOVE listening to Hinshaw talk about all the data he looks at. Such a smart approach to coaching and helping to prepare his athletes.

The great thing about endurance is it is so quantifiable. Everything from distances, speeds/time, work to rest ratios, heart rate/recovery and states of fatigue, it's really easy to improve, as long as you have the balls and will power to lock in trust the process.

Great interview! Listening to (anyone) talk, in length and depth, on a subject their clearly passionate about is amazing. So much to learn!
Side note: I recommend punching a couple small holes in that table to hide those cores... IMO it'll make your setup look a little more profess.

Chris I’m not sure if you do this but if you don’t you should be teaching coaching seminars as well, I just with I had a coach like yourself in my area.

If he’s giving it away why does it cost on his website? I mean I don’t mind it but I’m just saying.

Dude sounds like a concerned coach . He’s as concerned with himself as a coach as his results and his process vs results. Wow and someone who understands about training all the muscle fiber types . This is how I was training folks in a cyclic system. It’s complicated in its cycle in a training procedure. But and explosive exercise (fast twitch) (strength ) is cycled in a workout program with medium rep and high rep each workout. Then the next workout a different fast twitch , the a medium and high rep . And a workout can be made into a month long cycle where your most explosive exercise is strained only once a month or maybe once every three weeks . But it is supported with medium and high rep exercise for recovery. Recovery and creating muscles with enough oxygen to support a duration along with their explosive strength . This guy is a understanding coach

I know this guest has helped a lot of athletes but I can't take him seriously when he's spewing old science lactate myths.
