It's a chod rig on a boom instead of sliding on a leader or mainline. 👍🏻

do mine almost the same, i do it multirig style with a small bait screw
Do you change the hook and keep reusing it? Always wondered about wear and tare of the chod section after multiple fish?
@@Kb11466 got the Nash Chod mono, pull on it it straight again, its almost like wire.
if not, cut it off and tie a new on. Hooks get resharpened
I've used this rig for couple of years, it keeps everything super straight, one thing I would suggest is bit of shrink tube or silicone over the knot, which is big with double chod filament and can snag on the net when blobbed and potentially cause mouth damage, I figured this before anything happened just to be safe, it has the potential to cause mouth damage.

Mark Pitchers put this online about 2yrs ago. He put a micro hook swivel over the loop before you put it over the hook, that way you get a blow back also 👌👍
@@kennetking1 been using it for well over 7 years now bud. Been about for many years more also back in the 90’s. That’s the way I’ve always used it multi style. Shame more and more videos are coming out on it
