This is an amazing example of a "Haunted house". I mean the lighting and set designs are so detailed, Universal is amazing too. Six flags Fright Fest could never compare.
as someone that will most likely never be able to go to these fright things. I watch them all and I have to 100% agree! I have watched a good handful now of these and this place puts time and detail and the sounds super creepy and perfect. Awesome job Knotts!

Universal's not worse. (I actually prefer going there each year) It's just a different package. Universal brings your favorite horror films to life, & Knott's comes up with original haunted houses, not based on any properties. (outside of Paranormal Inc. of course)
BowditchXD Universal Studios, I think is the best because of there amazing theming and detailed set designs. This comment says Fright Fest not Universal.

Those are not normal flashlights they are called Gantom torches. they are control by sensors they change colors and turn off Vibrate, and other cool stuff like that

Mr. Halloween65 There's a Place 1hr Away From My House that Has a Haunt called Nightstalkrrs Inside a Attic with Mannequins Some are real and some are fake but the flashlight goes off and it's so scary

Omg so fun! Me and my boyfriend weren’t able to go to Knotts Scary Farm last year. This is the best maze I’ve seen so far. Scary especially I. The dark with just a flashlight. Lol
I saw the clown walk around the corner at the beginning and was like noO THANK YOU
kinda bummed this haunt is not there this year, it was my favorite. The music in the que the halloween theme, I love how your flashlight can trigger things, it definitely had wanting to revisit with new things you could trigger you didn't see the first few times.
I understand media night, but here's the problem. The point of this maze is intractable torches, that go on and off change color etc. Yet here you are with a big ass camera light... For this one maze you could have done I.R night vision or even just regular filming with no light.

Yep I got yelled at this year for trying to record with a flash. One of the costumers literally screamed in my fucking ear repeatedly "turn it off!". I actually was not thinking about how it was ruining the maze but it was close to the exit and Idk just wanted to get a glimpse for snapchat.... Learned my lesson. Nighttime vision next time.

Went last night. Loved it but the mazes didn't even make me jump a centimeter. Not sure if they went easy this year or if I just grew from it lol

Horror nights by far the music and overall environment of the mazes keeps you on edge !! Knotts mazes are similar to scare zones at universal studios horror nights.
