Awwww Mr Bojangles !! As a child and even now at 58 that song makes me cry. I saw my dog killed when I was 5 and I guess it is what gave me such a soft heart for animals. Every time they get to the part of the dog up and died and after 40 years he still grieves. Rips my heart out. Many decades and wonderful dogs later. Im in the middle of the number so I'm hoping with tears in my eyes that they skip that verse. Even so, I love the song. Its just so sad to me. If you haven't heard it, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band did it.
Love Carol and the show!! Has the best comedy still today. Bob Mackie designs her beautiful costumes but the dress Carol is wearing in the intro!!! Reminds me of my buffalo check tablecloth lol!!! Her comedy and the shows were awesome. Fantastic comedy without foul language or sex. Everyone loved the skits.

Oh brother! It is THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW...I think this woman went pretty far!
THAT'S what you got from these hilarious and touching skits, by one of the strongest women ever from Broadway to Hollyweird?
Oh please!!! You sound so foolish and ignorant! Women have come and very long way up the glass latter in the 21 century.
