I have seen some really cool smooth print from FDM after a lot of sanding. So, yeah FDM is good. But, if you want more dynamic workflow for the face it is better to use resin and stick with FDM for base or secondary element. Face and other close up details still look great with resin compared to FDM if you look very close.
@@OXO3DFigures I'm looking to get into 3d printing myself. Do you think that the AnyCubic Photon Mono 4K has a large enough build size for the figures you create? If not, roughly how large are the figure you make?
@@daltonmagic2234 I think Anycubic photon mono x build size is pretty descent in my opinion both in terms of price and print quality. Also, it depends on the type of resin. Usually I make the size around 168mm - 180mm.
