Just in case anyone watching is extremely new, the numbers he's throwing out are used to represent the tower upgrades. It tells you how many tiers go into the top, middle, and bottom paths respectively. So a 5-0-1 alchemist is referring to a perma-buff with the faster throwing upgrade. A x-3-x village would mean an MIB, but with no information on crosspaths (so you could mean 0-3-0 or 2-3-0 or 0-3-1 etc.)
An amazing video with lots of really great tips. I think there's even tons of tips left for a second video too. One I didn't see that I know Hbomb has already covered in prior videos was merchant man giving increased sell back value for towers in range, as well as xx2 farm giving more sell back value for itself.
The top path sub then also becomes a good AoE tick tower as a 402 AND strips camo from all bloons immediately, even DDTs. Energizer is as good as glue gunner taking care of normal bloons and has great all round support Another tip: Top path Engineer gains double the dps from Call to Arms/Homeland Defense, as the turrets fire faster but also the engineer deploys them faster. When also buffed by an Overclock he can solo every Impoppable round. Homeland Defense alone gives it 8x DPS when targeting a single bloon

I'm very new to this game. I've played previous Bloons games on flash sites like BTD1 and 2, but this is obviously a different breed of game. I've played Tower Defenses before, and this video was amazing. Literally within six seconds of you starting you addressed an issue I've had once DDT's started coming - where is my cursor!?!? Abilities can be used with Tech Bots, and Nudging can be used with the placement setting so you don’t have to place the tower on the track first and let’s you move the tower as many times as you want before confirming
worth noting that not all abilities should really be tech botted. You'll likely be fine and it will help somewhat but not all abilities get great value out of them
1 more tip. If you want to create the ultimate sun god, you can upgrade your dark night to 4, telepor it to a sun god temple to get the cost reduction, upgrade it to tier5, and then teleport it back outside the temple range so It won't get sacrificed

Is picking a level 2 crosspath for every tower bad value/a trap? How do you know when to leave a tower with only its primary upgrade path, and for how long? What's your personal favorite underrated tower?
Rounds 4, 14, and 76 come to mind. Most of the time it's good to get the second upgrade of a crosspath, but sometimes they aren't needed (like camo detection when you already have a village). Another example is a 0-1-5 druid is often better than a 0-2-5 because it doesn't strip the regrow property, making it attack more/faster. And I like the carrier flagship more than most
2:31 probably should mention that the alchemist also has innate lead popping abilities thanks to it’s acid based attacks. In fact it can pop ANY non Camo bloon type thanks to its acid. Also interesting fact about a 2-x-x sub, if a bloon enters the range of a tower that has any sort of camo detection then the sub will be able to attack it as well despite not having it’s own camo detection abilities.
The start of some CHIMPS games is definitely the hardest thing in this game, as you have to mess around with positioning, targeting, tower types, etc. perfectly. This video helped a lot though!

You don’t have to put a tower over an invalid space to nudge if you enable Drop and Lock in settings. If you do that you can place the tower anywhere and still nudge
Hot Take: Adora's Sacrifice ability is actually her most useless ability, and I think it's why she's so underrated because people assume you need to use sacrifices with her just for her to deal damage when that's simply not true. Giving her proper support with a tier 3 sub, Ninja and Alch is all she actually needs to carry you through most of mid-game. You don't need ANY sacrifices whatsoever, and frankly you're much better off using the money toward more towers that synergize with Adora well than to actually use the money to sacrifice for her. She's not a bad hero, everyone's just using her wrong and coming to that conlusion when she feels underwhelming. a vast majority of level 20 heroes can't really compete against many Tier 5 towers, so why is everyone thinking the optimal strategy for Adora is to spend a Tier 5 tower's worth of money to increase her by a few more levels? Then people crap on her for not solo-ing level 98 despite costing so much when she's just not supposed to.
what about how the top path and middle path subs and how they interact with being 502 and 052 because the bottom I think makes the ballistic missle better and increases the radar speed.

There’s another reason bottom path farms are good; they sell for more, making them excellent for things where you know you need to sell your farms, like in Bosses.

Easiest way to farm XP in my opinion is to pick a beginner maybe intermediate map that is long then unlock deflation and spam the tower you want to level up. If they can’t pop camo or leads or just struggle with regrows then get a x3x engineer as it’s cheap allowing you to spend more money on the tower your leveling up. (With this method you can expect 50-60k per run on beginner and 60k-65k on Intermediate) Edit: Using Logs was what I found most efficient cause the Bloons loop around the towers multiple times incase your using a tower that has troubles solo
On maps where there’s a straight path for sniper to shoot down I set it to close cuz I always cross path with shrapnel, for maximum damage and so the spread hits any Bloons behind the targeted bloon
i am a relativley new palyer your tips have helped me out so muchh i am able to beat diffuculties like apocalypse abr magic monkeys only on some of the easyer maps i just go around beat every difficulty on a map i know how to and then move on to the next its been pretty efective i almost have enough to afford my second hero
You need to unlock something in that menu first. Beat 10 games with pat fusty Beat 10 games with towers with large hitboxes on medium or higher Click the oompa loompas in the correct order on candy falls Those are just some examples I could think of

She’s pretty much useless late game unless you get her level 20 ball. Or you use Sun Avatars.

Use close on Ice and Glue Monkeys. Hits more and splatter and ice shards will be used to their max ability

x-x-4 mortar also removes regen, although the fortified and camo are the reason you should buy it.
I think an important one is get the extra monkey money and extra xp monkey knowledge asap.

Easiest way to farm XP in my opinion is to pick a beginner maybe intermediate map that is long then unlock deflation and spam the tower you want to level up. If they can’t pop camo or leads or just struggle with regrows then get a x3x engineer as it’s cheap allowing you to spend more money on the tower your leveling up. (With this method you can expect 50-60k per run on beginner and 60k-65k on Intermediate)
Edit: Using Logs was what I found most efficient cause the Bloons loop around the towers multiple times incase your using a tower that has troubles solo

On maps where there’s a straight path for sniper to shoot down I set it to close cuz I always cross path with shrapnel, for maximum damage and so the spread hits any Bloons behind the targeted bloon

The boat + 024 Farm strat actually pays itself off faster than any other farm in the game. Super busted on maps you can get it on.

i am a relativley new palyer your tips have helped me out so muchh i am able to beat diffuculties like apocalypse abr magic monkeys only on some of the easyer maps i just go around beat every difficulty on a map i know how to and then move on to the next its been pretty efective i almost have enough to afford my second hero

You need to unlock something in that menu first.

To deal with camos, well, most of the main towers I use have camo detection anyways (Ninja, 2/0/4 super monkey, or in endgame, the ninja paragon)

No you don't. It works just fine in CHIMPS and other modes
