The refs were SO against the Warriors and Curry in particular, this is really hard to watch. Disgusting. A testament to how much better the Warriors were than the celtics and how crooked the nba officiating is. Easily 20 points and major potential and real momentum swings. The championship is even sweeter when you know the league and the refs did everything they could against the Warriors and they held their composure and just fought through it all and still crushed them.
They didn’t “Crush” them, but they beat them. I understand you were pumped, but crushing would be a sweep or a gentleman’s sweep. Warriors came back from potentially being crushed to 3-1, from an actual 2-1 deficit, to winning in a game 6 at TD Garden. That’s a decent series. The shot at 2:42 was phenomenal - White was forcing Steph to the baseline and Williams, William had a clear path to block the shot, but Steph hung in the air, gave a pump fake, and shot the ball high off the TOP of the backboard. Simply amazing. Then at 8:00 Steph seemed to dribble the ball forever, and made a soft floater from the elbow of the key when other players might have been too winded or too pumped up after so much dribbing to have such touch. Steph displayed it all - 3 point shooting, passing, driving to the hoop, rebounding. This is the game where the Boston fans really affected Draymond, Steph knew this and in the 1st quarter became very demonstrative at the Celtic fans almost saying "COME AFTER ME !!" putting himself between the Boston fans and Draymond to give Draymond space to recover. Wow, what a player, what a teammate.
Celtic only had themselves to be blame. The referee and NBA awarded them free throw as much as possible but they only can score 1 out 7 in 4th quarter.
