A good way to knock people down at carboots is, go with 3 other people or more. And keep going ro the same person, then say how much for this? Ok naaaaa, aftee like the 3rd person they give up

Overcoming that natural gut feeling of fearing a poor price is surprisingly difficult. But I've been rewarded almost every time, and been surprised by the great price they want.

Really like binge watching these, seeing what bargains you find. Probably thought about this, but why not buy any game you find? The ps1 boxes are really prone to damage, but really easy to take apart and swap parts over. I do it with all my videogames. If I have a game with a dodgy box, I buy a crap game but with an intact box. Great vids :) subbed.

Hi Kevin I was just wondering does cex limit the amount of each game you can trade in? As I've heard that you can only trade in 1 of each game. Is that true?
Sorry if you’ve answered this elsewhere, just wondering where you trade the games you get? Do different games sell better on different sites? And if you wipe the data/files off them when you do trade them? Thanks
I take the ones worth trading to cex :) if you dont wipe the data they normally do it anyway unless there a parental lock on a console for example then you need to remove it. Simple trade games like Simpsons sonic lego mario zelda pokemon all hold a little value were it's easier to trade in then to sell separately. High end titles I wouldnt take to cex as you will get way under the going rate :)

Lee Everett I'm after the full pal A nes set so I've been picking up a few select titles I already have as trade fodder :) if I had the room I would be hoovering up every game for every system but I'm only in a 1 bed lol sticking with nes ps4 xbox 1 and wiiu and going for a few titles that are backwards compatible on xbox 1 plus retro I don't have :)

overall, which do you prefer, Xbox one or ps4? my nephew loves his Xbox one and my son loves his ps4. I am not sure which one I like, especially with Scorpio and ps4pro coming out.
i love the ps4 for 4k atm but the xbox one has better online and features. when the scorpio is out its game over for ps4 as long as they bring out new games :D

Hey :) I dont resell games I trade in to cex to get trade credit for more retro games I'm after. I keep what I can but it has to be the best of the best items as I dont have room for terrible games now haha

Great video, just subscribee. Man, I love boot sales in the UK. You'll never find the stuff you got for these prices here in Holland. Inwent to a boot sale in Sutton last month. I had trouble getting the stuff I bought back with me, without the need a suitcase.. Here everybody thinks they culturally inherented merchant skills.

Great find on the ps2 and ps1 games.
I really hate how sellers respond with "oh this sells for that on eBay". Sell it on eBay if you think you'll get near that, car boots are meant to be a place to make a quick buck.
At least take of the ebay and PayPal fees I'd guess if they want ebay money and the car boot. At least with ebay you get cover if anything is wrong. The amount of stuff I've bought and it's busted is unreal. I just take it everything I buy now is faulty so I'm not dissapointed XD

Btw I have a retro video game shop by me in Dudley/Birmingham, they do any game from the Atari 2600 to the GameCube, with some of them even being sealed! The games have no prices on them because the owner is always willing to haggle! If you ever want to make the journey, I highly recommend it, I've got a tour on my channel :D (Btw don't worry, I'm not advertising lol, I'm not expecting a sub or anything)

Now I've stream lined alot of my stuff only the best games on systems and trade the rest towards more top titles :)

i like your videos but I have to say it comes across a bit shitty when you barter on something that is very cheap to start with, i.e those PS4 games. We all like a bargain but it was apparent she didn't know the true value and you took advantage. Just saying.
toastn beans I barter always when I buy a bundle deal. everyone does it. it's not like some people bartering on a 50p item alone trying for 20p. sorry you feel this way but I go to boot sales for bargains and if I can save a quid that's another game I can get at the same sale. she said 4 for 10 she didn't have to but she was ok with it. When I sell old stuff cheap to tubers I give them silly discounts or even items for free after I've paid a few quid an item!all the tubers doing bootsale videos do it.
