I SOOO resonate with Science and History being boring when I was being homeschooled and only realizing how cool they can be as an adult. Definitely something I want to change also!
We are using Notgrass for Geography, and Beautiful Feet Books: Seasons Afield for Science (easily what I am most excited about!). For Bible we are just reading through a storybook bible next year, continuing what we started at the end of this year. We tried 2 different curriculums this year and discovered what we needed was just to dance to some kids worship songs and then read the Bible together. It’s been perfect for us and what we need right now 😊 We also use Read Aloud Revival and do their Book Club guides every month! So that covers a portion of our literature, cooking/baking, art, nature study and some other fun rabbit trails we do all together 😊
I love that so much! I wanted to get Seasons Afield but wasn’t sure how we would like it or not. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it once you’ve used it!
Excited to see how these work out for you! We're doing a combination of Generations and Answers in Genesis homeschool edition for Bible. For science and history We're doing a combination of Generations, Masterbooks, and individual historical story books. We've never tried Generations before. Super excited! ❤❤❤
I admit this school we are in at the moment I bought a 1st grade curriculum and bought other books for my older kids that go alongside them!!! I’ve never heard of the Bible road trip but it sounds awesome!!! I would do the activities at other times tho!!! I bought audiobooks for our HBL!!! Idk what curriculum we are using next year tho!!! I bought the books separately for beautiful feet history of science so I could get the audiobook versions!!! History of science and our HBL won’t be finished by September I think!!! We are doing chemistry this year coming up I think!!! I buy science supplies form home science tools but never used their curriculum!!!
Can you give a little more information or a link about your science kit please? My children love Nancy Drew Clue Crew, Nate the Great, and Zoey and Sassafras books. I am sure this would really engage them while teaching at the same time.

It’s such a time saver when you can do it!
Very interested to see how your science picks turn out.
Me too 🤣
I’ve been so out of the UA-cam world! I didn’t even know you were moving!
It’s been a fast and furious type of move 🤣
I always thought homeschool science tools was just with the kits for other curriculum! I didn’t realize they had their own curriculum
Girl, they have SO much! I spent a good hour on their site just daydreaming and adding to cart 🤣
