I bought the x6100 a year ago. Its not perfect but I am making the contacts all over the USA and Europe. The built in tuner is really nice as well. Keep up the good work producing the videos 73 -Dave KE6EX
Yep thanks for that. I honestly thought the 705 had an atu. Seeing hf is the only real option for this part of the UK, aka Devon and Cornwall I think the X6100 is the way to go. Thanks for helping me save a ton of cash. 73 @HamTechRadioScannerDrones
Xiegu went the wrong direction with the X6200 with respect to transmit audio. Its too bassy for a QRP rig sometimes sounding muffled at low signal level. X6100 has proper QRP transmit audio.
many people begin to shout out loud but the do absolute not know where they are shouting about because the don't know how it works.... stupideti ten top i would say so myself and so first, think first before you scream
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones that looks pretty old firmware they have, was hoping for something newer, I know "communities" often make other software and firmwares .

Just ordered one yesterday. Thanks for your videos on this unit, it helped to make an informed decision.
It's a good set don't compare it to older sets it's a breed of it's own .
Thanks for no BS. I ordered one tonight.
Lol yes
Amazon has the 6100 on sale for $465.50 in the US market. At that price, it's a steal. It's the best portable radio for the price available.
Agree
I have a X6100, it works well, no issues.
Yes agree if you use it for what it was made for works.great .
I'm in the UK too and am struggling to decide the x6100 or ic705
Massive difference on price nearly £1000 more , the X6100 is best value .The 705 is a premium brand but no ATU .

Agree but take a look at all the new settings on x6200
if it could do ctcs for 6 meter repeaters it would be perfect for what i need
Yes be good .
