I wish PKidd stop saying " the Bulls didnt allow him to be The Guy." . Zach had like 3 years to be the Guy, with the same results each year.. Are you supposed to keep waiting for a guy that shows that he is not a true #1, to be something that he is not? Debo is a #2, #3 on a real chip contender and more of a #1 than Zach.. Pkidd woulda made the move too after 3 yrs and recognizing that this is not that dude and its not physical, its all mental.. Big stats on a bad team, isnt special unless our big stats guy is carrying your team to the playoffs.. Zach wasnt doing that years before debo came, and he showed himself to effect winning the same way whether he plays or not.. Bulls gave him a chance to have his own team, a Guy thats more Alpha came in and took over what Zach couldnt. Its Dawg eats Dawg World. Zach got Ate., that part is Zachs fault..not managements. Real #1 Dawgs dont get they team taken over by 2nd and 3rd option guys that sign as free agents.
He need to get some more Dawg in his self.. He is athletically superior to Debo, but he not even close mentally.. Good dude, but not a true Dawg by choice.. If he get some hate in his heart on the court he could be a top 10 player, but he on that Lebron, "be nice to everybody" kick, thats ruining the league AND/OR he was just NEVER that dude....
Billy Donovan’s coaching with DeMar on the roster is a big reason why the Bulls absolutely mismanaged him as a basketball player. People forget that Zach was ascending as a player before DeMar got there.
@@mondialman Before Debo, 2017-2020, 27 wins, 22 wins, 22 wins, in that order,.. so lets stop that narrative. Like I said. Big stats on a bad team dont mean nothing unless your getting to the playoffs. Nobody was saying "let me get some sleep, we got Zach tommorow". I watched %90 of those games, Zach wasn't getting doubled either (this I know, cause I been saying this for YEARS). So lets stop that narrative. Also he only lead his TEAM in winshare Twice (2x) out of his EIGHT years..
