All that rice! And other good stuff! Such a difference from a few inches of cold soaked rice after a 30 + mile hike!!! I am so amazed at y'all for doing that....

You got that right! Now THERE IS SO MUCH FOOD! It’s hard not to eat it all.
Yes, I’ll always remember those 30 miles on the tiny bit of rice 🥰 actually one of my favorite days lol

You might have already told it, but would love to hear how you Nor Cal people ended up in Chatanooga, Tn

Meet, get married, roadtrip across U.S.A, live in Florida renting for about 6 years saving money, move to TN for the rock climbing, bought our first house, and the rest is history! PCT was our 10 year anniversary! 🥰 thanks for following along!

Off-trail life also suits you guys. On or off, you are living healthy and fulfilling, not to mention really purposeful lives. Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress because we do want to know how you are doing, how the book is progressing. Bobby, your art is really impressive. Keep crushing. Pod racing hobitses 🤗

I started watching you guys when you were popping up on roadrunner's channel and only recently discovered that yall live in Chattanooga. It's my hometown, where I still live. So cool, welcome back.

Thank YOU for helping me transition from daily views of the PCT to the reality of an extremely wet autumn here and now it’s getting chilly. Chattanooga looks like a good place to live. My 40 year old memory consists of a train museum/ restaurant and an incline railway. I have some memorabilia somewhere. Keep planning those adventures, you will never regret it.

You are making the transition to post PCT trail life look remarkably easy. I love how you use calendars for goal setting and saving for your hikes. I have lived in Chattanooga all my life and you are doing a marvelous job showcasing our wonderful city. Once you get settled in and get your book published I would love to show you some good day hikes up on Lookout Mtn. Cheers !!

Hey, you're out of your hiking clothes! Woo hoo. You know, I never gave any thought about Chattanooga before, but it looks like a cool city. And Bobby, I wish I was as good about anything as you are with your art. I think it's fabulous! Unfortunately, I have zero connections or influence in the art world. All I have are two eyes and a brain a d they think your pictures are beyond awesome.

Awwwwww, I was just there, walking past the museum and across the bridge a few months ago, visiting some colleagues and going to a meeting. Sweet town!! Those fresh veggies and chicken must be like heaven.🎉😅

Keep telling your story! It's fun to follow real-life on trail and off with you. You both do such a great job of it! 💕

Chattanooga is very nice place. It's the river, trails, parks that make a big difference!! You're cramping because you need electrolytes and water 💦 and it's a warm southern climate. Your body got used to northwest cool wet climate.😊

I loved this video. The videos of your hike made us all get to know you like we were friends and really know you. We learned all about you both and your personalities and habits. This video took us on a walk through the area where you live. We have been to Chattanooga and we saw things from your video that we actually experienced while we were there. This has made it seems as though we actually know you personally and make me really look forward to get our books. We have enjoyed getting to know you and experience the whole trip through your eyes. We appreciate your dedication through this whole process and we thank you so much.

What about making the "i" in PAINT on the logo a paintbrush and the "i" in WRITE a pen? (just a thought) The triangle and footprints are awesome! Love the looksee at Chattanooga...such a pretty city.

Have you thought about doing a post-hike live chat?
Do you feel that the adjustment/transition is easier because you're going through it together?

I’m not sure, though probably us having each other is more helpful. Two is better than one I guess 🥰
