The Nurse was his first kill, the drug dealer was the first and only time Harry actually witnessed what he had created. He suicided days later. I guess it was one thing knowing but quite another thing seeing
I saw this episode! I must say I’m still skeptical about this prequel. But I really enjoyed to see the opening. Following up from new blood. I appreciate they tried to recreate the scenes from flashbacks from season 1. I definitely don’t dislike this but I don’t know if I enjoy it as I was supposed to. I must say though, the actor who plays masuka definitely did his homework 😂 and I don’t recall harry having a son who died drowned. I think that may be a nice addition to the character. I wanna see how this prequel dives into harry character instead of mere flashbacks, hopefully we at least see a piece of scene he’s talking to Dr Vogel on the phone even if she doesn’t show up. I also wanna see flashbacks of Harry’s relationship with Laura moser, which is kinda crazy having more flashbacks in a prequel 😂😂 The photography also looks nice but overall my feelings are still mixed. But it was a GOOD episode.
@vinilima1227 I feel at worst this will be very average, so I'll take that. Personally, I'm more into the sequel stuff, but if this holds me over until that, I can't complain.
@@J-DEVTV dexter resurrection is by far the main reason why I’ll watch original sin. Maybe original sin will end with dexter in the present. But I’m curious to see Harry’s relationship with Laura, based on the teaser of episode 2 we’ll get that. I’m glad. And I saw dexter resurrection teaser and it was nice. Hopefully we see some cool photos from behind the scenes of resurrection when it starts shooting in January!!! And hopefully they don’t screw it up !
@vinilima1227 So far, they've screwed up 1½ times. As I don't think the finale of season 8 was the failure that most say it is. Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what they do.
@@J-DEVTV I hope they don’t screw it up in terms of making a worthy sequel to new blood, not necessarily the whatever finale resurrection will have one day. Like I said earlier WORST case scenario I’ll keep watching only seasons 1-8. I don’t hate S8 nor its finale. If resurrection sucks as a season (which I believe it won’t) OR/AND if resurrection runs for way too many seasons and gets a terrible SERIES finale (because this has to end one day again) I’ll ignore everything that came after S8 pretty much what I was doing until resurrection Announcement lol 😂😂😂. The last thing I want dexter is to become like the walking dead which is a good series but runs for WAYYYYYYY too many seasons INCLUDING spin offs. As much as I love dexter I don’t want it to take forever. Everything needs a beginning, middle, end. Unlike TWD, dexter does not have filler or slow pacing WHICH makes many seasons more tolerable. Depending on me dexter ended in S8(as it was supposed to be). At least the braking bad universe is complete. I prefer breaking/BCS over dexter but I think dexter is more fun and interesting in concept but unfortunately it’s not a flawless masterpiece like the breaking bad universe is in MY opinion. If resurrection runs for 2-3 seasons I might be ok with. BUT IF I decide to stop on S8 I am totally ok with it.

The person Harry walks in on as Dexter dismembers them was a man who killed his street workers and sold drugs. He kept getting out. 3 days after Harry witness this, he killed himself by taking his heart meds. The nurse was his first kill, his first dismemberment was the guy... That is what Harry couldn't deal with. His son's dissent into further psyco tendencies I loved the first ep. and can't wait to see what's in store. I do believe the series will end with Harry's death... Then onto Dexter: Resurrected..

Brian would be only one year old, to young to see his new brother being born. Reece's buttercups are king! Never took to the Babe Ruth. "Tonight's the night!" I think the body Harry walked in to see was Juan Ryness after being let off on a technicality. Irks me to no end that I thought I had this covered with my subscription, but they just had to make it harder for me! Dang, going to have to bite the bullet!
It was great being back in this universe again. I pay for UA-cam Premium to avoid ads, and got Paramount Plus through UA-cam, which gives me a 7-day free trial.

I think this will last at least 2 to 3 seasons as long as people are subscribing to Paramount Plus. They wanna milk it for as much as they can. But, to my knowledge, nothing has been confirmed yet.
