I just got me a 2016 Lincoln mkz I love it, the car really stand out because of the panoramic sunroof that extends to the rear window when extracted

First let me say, what a joke of a car review. Second, I purchased a 16' MKZ with the 2.0 liter turbo. If you do not need the 41mpg in town, it is a much better option. Power is great, shifts are smooth and quick. Base model comes with plenty of features and a much better MSRP. Ford is currently pushing to give these away with over 6k in rebates available. I love the adaptable suspension settings as it can be quite sporty in the sport setting but a soft cruiser in comfort mode. While some may not get used to touch screens, the screen and the touch controls work fine once you learn the touch area. This guy hits the defroster button 5 times in the wrong spot and says it doesn't work. Sigh.......The center console was a big selling point for me. It is very sleak and unique compared to other competitors.
All in all, worth the price. But ymmv. Cheers!

electrictroy2010 , I dont believe people are afraid of the hybrid bit. Just look at the power figures. It is weak and drives horrible. I owned a 2012 Sonata Hybrid and it drove very nice with nearly 200hp and plenty of torque. When I bought my MKZ, ai drove both and the lack of power in the hybrid was a deal breaker when the 4cyl. Turbo got 33mpg.
These cars went down to the $17,000 with around 43,000 miles
Where can I find it at that price with low miles? Please point me in that direction

I was just thinking that same thought. I was beginning to question if the common consensus was actually that the MKZ was uglier and that I was stupid for thinking otherwise. The Fusion isn't a bad looking car, but it's easily outclassed by this.
i had the 2013 mkz. it got totaled. but apparently a lot of people who review the car don't like the winged grill or the sliders to adjust the volume etc...???? i think its people that just review the car but don't own it cause it can be weird getting used to at first, but once you're used to it... its amazing! nothing is like It!! he did mention its hard to see out of the rear window which i do agree....
but yeah... I think i have to get me another one. loved the car minus the sometimes difficult visibility especially in the rain.

Good review! I just bought a pre certified 2016 black label... You can't compare a ford Fusion to this car! Lincoln is pure luxury compared to the Fusion which is still a good car.. Add some 19 inch wheels on this car and you would think different... maybe the custom wheels...

Mathimatically? It may cost you $2,500 today's$ but in 10 yrs out of Warranty? $5,235 and what does a 10 yr Old MKZ sell for Today? Ans: $5,000..So you would have to Spend $5k for the New Battery Pack to sell it for $5k , would you not? Just to get rid of it.. We went with a 17' Cad Instead..i4 cycl. mtr. was fine since we do mostly in town driving.

I'm jealous.. but My Faux Ferrari Test. with a Ford Dual OHCam V6 drive train is the best combo.. Best $5k conversion I ever spent.. been 11 yrs and going strong as my Summer Car .. Winter is a Ford Fusion hybrid..

Car review?? All this was was some guy complaining about every single detail. I heard the phrase “it’s okay...” so many times that I thought I was listening to someone consoling an injured child rather than someone reviewing a car. Dude disliked the trunk so much he didn’t even bother trying to show it and just went to “oh look a button”. This entire “review” came off as “I can’t afford this car so I’m gonna act like it’s not worth looking at.” You must sell a lot of cars that way. Lmfao!!

So I was thinking about getting one of these cars but I think ford is the only one that kills your trunk space in the car when you get a hybrid. VS most other hybrid models have gone away with killing the trunk space.
+kille6525 HONDA block the rear seat with the battery (no folddown or passthru), so in that respect Ford is actually better.
The car is ugly on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. Also the technology and the gadgets are all my style. So, as I would not see the outside when driving it, I want it badly! Unfortunately it is not for Europe I guess...

Test drove this vehicle, while on the test drive i missed my turn which extended the test drive to about 5 miles instead of the common "around the block test" that one mistake saved me from a colossal mostake of buying this vehicle. After the extended test drive a few things came to light. One was the engine (v6) is gutless and the transmission lags terribly, along with the seats being hard and as far from luxury as a fors focus. My butt actually hurt after the test drive.
The V6 in this gen MKZ, the 3.7, has 300 horsepower. The transmission tightens up if the drive mode is set to sport.
OK That's it.. After seeing what they can do for $1,000 for a Conversion kit? I'm getting a Fusion hybrid with 8,000 miles on it- like brand new and for only $17k - $4k trade in $13k + 5% taxes and adding a set of Lincoln Floor Mats not less... ! That Extra $1k is to convert it to a incoln Contenental adding a Lincoln Emblem in the Grille and Swapping the Wheels and adding a Liclon Emblem in the Trunk and swapping the steering wheel..All these parts from a wrecked Lincoln Continential they just got in their Body Shop and totaled.. Fusion, the Poor Mans Lincoln Continental... Get one today for next yr ., Ford may not make Sedans anymore..SUV's and PUp trucks before China buys them out..
Dennis The Menance Fusion isn’t a poor persons vehicle, they’re many many people who drive “middle class cars” that are rich. My aunt is pretty wealthy and she just drives a Honda Accord. I wouldn’t put a label on anyone. Rich people know that luxury cars can be a waste of money plus have you seen the price of a fully loaded fusion! I wouldn’t exactly call it the cheapest vehicle around lol

+Alex Alejandre It is a hybrid-oriented vehicle. So what do you expect ? 400 horsepower mated to a hybrid motor. You should invest in a V6 powertrain engine that is mated to a 3.7 Liter V6 producing 300 horsepower because you have performance in mind.

THEY EXIST, the whole point of hybrid technology is also to create faster engines paired with great fuel economy like Tesla for example. don't confuse the term hybrid with small slow engine. future vehicles will be lighting fast with all electrical components. this car is beautiful but the HP kills ME 188??? have u been in a car that has that little power? get ready for a lot of beeping and being passed left and right in a big city highway.

What an ugly car like so many of the cars built the last few years.How come all cars now have the same curved look and the big bodies? Not only that you can't even grip the steering wheel at 6 o'clock with your palm down, which is the most comfortable driving position.

The 2004-2011 Lincoln town Car is classic and classy looking sedan compared to this piece of junk. Why not just make the 2004-2011 Town car? It is a much better looking car.
