- Hello, and welcome to my new video!
This time I will explain how to make a simple night animation for a TheoToown plugin.
Night animations are a very requested feature in many plugins, but making it seems very hard to many creators, so I made this video which will hopefully help you!
This tutorial however is based on my experience as plugin creator, and I cannot assure you it will 100% work, but It worked with me and so it must work with everyone.
The debugging step is the hardest to understsand and yet is very important, so if you struggle with it, ask in the comments or in the forum please.
I hope my tutorial can help you with your night animations and put down in black and white how you make it 😉

Note : I made a mistake at 5:22 it says if you raise x it will both move left and right, while by raising it it will just move left

But I have a question,how do you get the "x"and"y"?😮
@@user-oi8pq5lq8h Well, to calibrate the "x" and "y" coordinates, you can simply count the pixels that separate the night animation from the meant place.
If for example, as i said in the video, the night animation looks 3 pixels below the place you want it to be placed, decrease "y" by 3 to move it up 3 pixels. The same is for "x".
I simply quoted a part of my video and made it easier, that's why the information I gave might not be what you looked for. If that's the case, please tell me what do you need to know in specific please.

What does "h": 32 an "w": 32 mean in the code?
It is the position of the night animation relative to the original structure. In your case is 32 in horizontal (w) and 32 vertical (h) which correspond to pixels. If you need to move them, you can find the information here 4:35
