"November 9th is the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. I remember an old clip from the show when the wall fell where they used Larry Bud as a wrecking ball to celebrate. Would love to see.

As a European, I would like to thank Mr. Larry Bud Melman, and all who supported him, for tearing down this wall.
❤
Why is watching Larry swing back and forth the funniest thing I've seen in an age? He's accidentally the funniest human being ever.
I know! I’m sitting here laughing my ass off at him just swinging around aimlessly.
I just laughed so hard at him swinging back and forth that my stomach hurt and I had tears in my eyes.
He kinda looks like Gorbachev. And Tim Walz, btw.
This and the Port Authority remote reporting are comic gold.
A beautiful moment in history. Our great, great, great Grandchildren will speak of this.....the day Larry Bud Melman brought down the Berlin Wall !
Mr. Larry Bud Melman, A True Hero.
When the pandemic hit, I thought great. This will give me a chance to work on my Larry "Bud" Melman fan fiction.
This was so awesome. Remember it well. Thanks Dave. They were all great programs!
Larry came in like a wrecking ball.
-------------------------- kamikaze pilot..... thanks4sharing.....pendulum on atomic clock.....
„Ich bin ein Berliner!“ followed by „Freude schöner Götterfunken“ followed by The Downfall of the Berlin Wall. As a German I really appreciated this segment. Danke schön!
He was such a sweet old guy.
Happy Birthday, Harry! Love this too! So glad the Wall came down!
Larry!!!
I had a goldfish named Larry "Bud" Melman 😂🐟
Thank you to whoever is posting these videos.
*whomever. (I don't actually care; just having some fun)
@@allendracabal0819 that is a good catch. I do not mind being corrected if I am wrong
@@april7thartwork I was being pedantic for fun. These days, nobody cares about whoever/whomever. It doesn't matter anymore.
@@allendracabal0819 I do
A shining moment for global democracy and freedom.
Funny, but that’s the most comfortable I’ve seen Larry in a bit. He seemed to be enjoying himself.
Flying Larry Bud!
That’ll keep you laughing 😂
I wish the CBS Orchestra would release a cover album. They're music is so good.
You might wanna buy the Blues Brother Soundtrack by Paul.
Brought to you by, The Late Night Brain Trust.
Fun fact: The Flying Melmans were one of the top acts in vaudeville
Larry "Bud" Melman!!!!
The most important thing about this is the song Paul & the band play at the end is “Is Your Love In Vain?” …a real Dylan oddity
At the end I think they’re playing “Questions 67 & 68” by Chicago
Larry can fly!! ....well kinda 😉
Great Flying By Foy bit at NBC. They wound up doing a ton of these for Dave.
Should have had Larry yell something like “Take that commies!”, followed by that wonderfully goofy laugh.
He did that to the Soviet UN office in New York! "HEY does your cafeteria have any soup WITHOUT turnip?"
Questions 67 And 68...as usual, Paul is spot on with the musical tie-ins.
I was gonna point this out if no one else had.
It really doesn't matter anyhow.
All that and Gary Busey? What an amazing episode!
This is perfect.
Budman😅
Poor Calvert.. he was great though wasn’t he?
Calvert
@@allendracabal0819 Thank you…
🎉🎉🎉
I loved melman and just realised he was probably the inspiration from the simpsons' Hanz Moleman.
It's a shame Dave wasn't allowed by NBC to take the character name of "Larry 'Bud' Melman" with him to CBS. Was kind of awkward seeing Dave refer to "Larry" by his real name of Calvert Deforest.
It's pronounced Lech Walensa though for some reason.
REAGAN made this happen. Thatcher and St. Pope John Paul II too. "MR. MELMAN, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"
If Larry could fly without wires hed probably still get stuck
😂
😅
Paul Shaffer already looks 55 here
CBS years or NBC years? I can guess.
4:05 # 6, Mr. Trump?
😂
