These finishes make Phillips one of the few, if not the only, poker player to have three top 10 finishes and a fourth deep finish in tournaments with more than 4,000 entrants

montgomery play vs demidov was icm suicide, not too mention just plain awful, he gave up like 4M in equity to be a big shot haha. His A4 play made no sense either so he is lucky to be there but wow.
While I appreciate Pokergo for providing this, I have to admit I skipped a lot. Very much the commercialization of everything. The sponsor badges, the announcer, commercials and short clips every 20 seconds, and the 'November Nine' idea in general. It's a tough watch if you like to watch poker being played rather than marketed.
First hand with aq vs ak the ak should have shoved rather than called. Shoved or folded. The other player was better and ak is a tricky hand. If you're calling of a third of your stack preflop with ak you'd be better off shoving, it seemed obvious to me that the raising and re raising then re re raising with those hands was because they would rather take it down pre flop....ak.....shove its a tournament and some of these European players are hyper aggressive with a hand like ak stick it to em!😂
I remember the Phillips Demidov AQ vs AK hand well. I think it was live streamed with no hole cards and everyone had to wait a couple of days until the ESPN packaged show to find out what they both had. There were some very long forum threads about it!
