I’m always optimistic about new products being introduced. I’m hoping it comes out with a wide range of in game products to get us started right away. New mods will come in time. It’s always exciting to see them roll out. Thanks for the update FSG. Can’t wait to see if it’s officially introduced at Farmcon.
Of course they will introduce at FarmCon. When FarmCon was announced that was the first thing I was saying in my videos, "this is where FS25 will be announced if they do it". Of course, you can see above I'm in that minority that does not want a new version. "new engine" in a farming game is like adding racing stripes to a snail. They gave us a new engine in FS22 yet I'd challenge anyone to show FS19 and FS22 side by side and show visible improvement. Not a lot of those videos in the last 2 years, because there's nothing to show. I think we need to get far more than window dressing to justify losing mods etc. Now if they announce FS25 has backward compatibility for mods? Then I'm on board. MS has done it with something far more complex in a flight simulator , the fact the Giants can't figure this out is pretty sad in a farming simulator.
They made some logical and efficient changes when 22 came out, I just hope they make a few more. One thing that I’ve always wanted was a way to park your vehicles and have the options to “store” it. Then it would be considered “in storage” and removing it from the tab lineup. This way when you own 10-20 vehicles, you don’t have to tab through a bunch that you aren’t using. Say you have 6 planters operating but as you cycle through to manage the work, you don’t have to cycle through the 6 combines, 4 trucks, 6 sugar beet harvesters, and 5 other tractors to get to the one you want.
That never happened in the past 15 years and will never happen in the future. Unless you make content and get the preview you have to wait till release.

A very sneaky way of dropping a hint. But brilliant. Can't wait to see what they reveal. I sincerely hope the in cab monitors are not just static JPEGs anymore, and have actual functionality. If modders can do it, I would hope the developers can too. Functional Monitors and Auto Steer (GPS), should be base game.
I'm torn. I'm excited for the possibilities if they give what we've asked for. At the same time we're just now finally getting some incredible maps and the American equipment we want foe this veraion.
Thanks for the info! It is crazy when I realize that vanilla FS isn't even close to one of my favorite games of all time (been a gamer for going on 45 years now, PC for life). And yet, this is the game I have by far put more time into than any other. About 3-6 months in, it transforms into one of my favorite games of all time...thanks to the mods! I will purchase the plain-jane Windows PC Digital version this time around (with your link of course), but will be sitting on it until my favorite mods are ready for prime-time. I really hope I regret it and end up purchasing the DLCs as they are released because they are so awesome...but I doubt that will be the case...it never has before...it has been the opposite regret. That being said, I am excited for the next release and can't wait to see how the modders extend it and make it into one of my favorite games of all time.
I hope FS25 is more than just a pretty colour and they cool off in productions and give us more crops and better AI. and improve on the difficulty levels in a way that we can move up in levels give us a real challenge.
Hey @farmsim guy. Idk if you have any pull with Giants, but here is a list of items that would be cool to implement in fs25 or beyond: 1. Click able cockpit 2. Full native vr support 3. Tile irrigation 4. Crop rotation 5. Varying levels of gps/rtk 6. Different kinds of nitrogen sources, insecticides, herbicides, fungicide 7. Varying type of corn [like 110 day corn, 90 day corn ect] 8. Varying genetics of seed tailored to the soil, climate type. Think like thicker stalks, better drought resistance, ect 9. Adverse weather including high winds (to knock over crops) 10. Better ai (shouldn't need courseplay or autodrive) 11. Other farmers in fields. 12. Adjustable sieve control on the combine 13. Realistic road damage for being overweight. 14. Listen to the in game radio or in game app for up-to-date market prices. 15. Realistic contracts on crops (say in spring you contract 10,000 bushel corn at $4.25. You have to deliver that much corn) 16. Tracking bushels delivered by net weight 17. Crop moisture content 18. 20-inch and 30-inch row crops with associated vehicles. 19. Row crops thay follow the planter path and not simply a grid pattern
Watching the Flight Simulator presentation from this weekend and man oh man. Even though it is a Flight simulator it seems to me that they have already surpassed the ground physics of Farm Simulator. And it covers the entire Earth... My dream would be Farm Simulator with the entire Earth available. Basically, Farm Simulator inside the digital replica of earth in Flight Simulator. Real Time, Live Weather. I want all of it in Farm Simulator.
I think the official announcement comes out the 25! Of course there's a new game, look at the mods for the last bit being released haphazardly, Giants not releasing a season pass/DLC this year and the wrap up video of 22. I knew at the end of last year; them not releasing a season pass and being the 3rd year was a huge indicator.

Will be nice to get a new game. Ive seen the comment section of people not happy with no mods at launch back to square one. Seems no pleasing some. Would be neat if they could design something that ports over mods for the modders if not to much changes engine wise. Maybe even release a thing for the modders ahead of the game with them signing NDA. Obviously they want their stuff front and center first before people run off to mods which i get. Either way im excited for the next game and have no problem waiting for mods again. As i say, how many mods can you really use at once anyway.
Exactly plenty to keep people busy when the new game launches, I think a lot of the demand for mods is just noise, most folks will download 1000 and only actually play with about 30 or 40 consistently
@pedromendez6549 what I mean is everyone wants more and more. You can only drive 1 tractor at a time. You can only play 1 map at a time. I'm on console and have well over a hundred. Never have I ever used more than 20 or so while playing a map.
-More animals need to be visible on console, instead of showing only like 8 or 10 when you actually have 150 cows or whatever in one pasture. Not saying they should (if they even could) show all of them, but you at least need to have the feeling that you have a bunch of animals. It's my biggest "gripe" with the console version of FS. -Something "courseplay-like" needs to be in the base game. Or in other words: Smarter workers. -Better/more base game maps.
I just want a total conversion mod that puts the game in 1989. Cutting edge 80s technology and methods, nothing else. Currently i have to install many many mods to achieve something close, but not quite there.
I got a big big question is there going to be any possible way that we could keep the mods on fs22 going because on fs19 screwed up and I barely played fs19 so I’m praying that fs 22 mods going so I can keep playing it

@@whpony96 No, as somone who's worked in marketing for 20 years, that's not what you'd do, you'd start to build excitement ahead of launch starting small with teasers and slowly releasing more information ahead of a big launch at say... Farmcon which just so happens to be in 2 weeks time. (and flight sim released a teaser that was mostly clouds 2 months ago announcing the new Flight Sim, so similar type of idea, and we know that's launching in November. News is coming and soon, I'm pretty confident of it.

Please stop making DLC‘s to add new functions to the game. They should just release it with the game itself. The only reason I bought the Kubota pack was to ride in the same vehicle with my friends which is ridiculous. Should’ve been in the base game in the first place. Why get greedy with money? Why can’t we just have these features it’s like Activision wanting us to spend money on skins same thing with Fortnite I get businesses got to make money, but come on.
if there is a farm sim 25 coming i believe giants should not give early access to the youtubers to spoil the new game, no offence to youtubers but i think that would be the best way forward, i still feel fs22 has years of potential in it for the money we have spent on it

Giants didn't do the last DLC it was from DMI modding and it's purely your opinion that the game doesn't have decent equipment in game, there's loads of great vehicles from the off, Now if you mean "There's no equipment I want" that's an entirely different thing. but you can hardly day there's no decent equipment

It’s all narrow equipment and very little variety of models across the tractor and truck manufacturers range. Yes it’s only my opinion and I get that the European market is where this game has primarily aimed itself at with the US playing more of a part in the game. I am in the Oceania region and we use both European and US equipment in this part of the world. I hope that Giants can pull off something amazing, but their form since the FS22 game came out has let me a little doubtful. that would be a good base game improvement, in the meantime try the park vehicle mod which does exactly that 👍

I currently have about 257 active mods

The game is good without mods, mods give the game longevity
I'm confused on their teaser though. The only shades of blue in the FS22 logo are #11c4f8 (outer border) and #0fbcfd (inner color).
My logo (shared with me by Giants) has 2AC1ED as the border blue. could be different if you've just grabbbed on off the internet

Giants didn't do the last DLC it was from DMI modding and it's purely your opinion that the game doesn't have decent equipment in game, there's loads of great vehicles from the off, Now if you mean "There's no equipment I want" that's an entirely different thing. but you can hardly day there's no decent equipment
@@TheFarmSimGuy I understand what you are getting at, I’m talking off the back of release. It’s all narrow equipment and very little variety of models across the tractor and truck manufacturers range. Yes it’s only my opinion and I get that the European market is where this game has primarily aimed itself at with the US playing more of a part in the game. I am in the Oceania region and we use both European and US equipment in this part of the world. I hope that Giants can pull off something amazing, but their form since the FS22 game came out has let me a little doubtful. Again it’s only my opinion and I certainly don’t expect everyone will agree. Cheers

Well, I won’t be rushing out to buy it that’s for sure. It took almost 12 months for FS22 to get decent equipment in game and ONLY because of the modders. If the last DLC release is as good as giants can do then I might bail out at FS22.

If this is because of the amazing mods we have now.... Yeah, it will take a while to get used to the 'bare' feeling of a new game. Let's hope it enables new possibilities (for the modders too!)
@@simfellow i suppose we can do what we did last time... keep playing the old game most often, checking back in with the new game when new mods are released. That's what i did with 19/22 and ill do the same for 22/25.
