    For the Labisia, you can also just rip the leaf into a few large pieces and do the same thing.

      sort of like a begonia leaf propagation? cut along the stiff veins?

      @@ForTheGreys - yes, but it’s a very long process…like a year. So make sure you leave enough leaf to “power” a small plant. I split my leaves left to right once in the middle (by tearing it) and then put the largest vein end down into the media, so the stem of the leaf goes into the media, and the middle-section base of the other half goes into the media.

    Do the plants seed out from the propagation or do you need flowering first? Do they flower?

      interesting question! I will do my best to answer this . I honestly don't know a great deal in terms of flowering and i'm still learning. jewel orchids and Labisia do both flower and can be grown from seed. jewel Orchids produce off shoots if you cut the flower stem and multiply. I hope this helps
