When I first looked at the Fincine logo, the theremin music, due to the way it's recorded, sounds to me like a very high-pitched opera lady than an actual theremin. Stereotypes play into that as well because the instrument is associated with visitors from outer space.

The Paramount Television "Closet Killer" is my favorite Paramount Television Logo. I love the fanfare since it sounds like something takes you by surprise. I also like the red background since my favorite color is red. Turns out, the fanfare was composed by Dominic Frontiere (R.I.P.).

Rainbow Releasing: What is this? Monty Python? Palace Video: Nice. Not the best 80's Home Video logo, but it's great. Zombastic Productions: Cheap and funny! Colombiana De Televisión: Cringy and Loud! Murghan Enterprise: Sinister, yet awesome, especially for the 70's. Tiger Productions: Loud Fanfare, but like the tiger itself. It looks cute, like it wants to cuddle. National Arts: Old, yet soothing. Fincine: Pretty good. I was expecting it to be quite old, but I didn't expect it to be from the 40's. Cocinor: This made its debut the same year as MGM's Leo The Lion. It also gives off detective vibes. Renaissance Pictures: Sam Raimi, You're quite a history buff. Media Blasters: I can tell VHS was still in use at the time, and DVDs were becoming popular. Ghost House Pictures: Reminds me of movies like The Grudge, Drag Me To Hell, and Poltergeist (2015). This is Sam Raimi once again. Dark Castle Entertainment: I don't think it's that bad. Many of their movies may be terrible, but they do have a good logo. Klasky Csupo: Classic, and Iconic. The OZ Film Manufacturing Company: Oldies, But Goldies. We still care about you. VID: The Mask is quite... Odd, but the company is very respectable.

The only logo that scares me the most is the Warner brothers 1973-1984 big w logo only because the first film that I ever saw that logo on was a horror movie called The exorcist

Aight so in tradition, i'm gonna give my own personal review of these logos. Regal Films: I will admit that the tune (for this variant at least) is kinda creepy and the zooming R is definitely scary logo material. Also, as previously noted, there is another variant of this logo that uses a different, less creepy synth tune. It's soooooo full of 80s cheese, but I love it. But I would give the one showed in the video a good Medium to Nightmare rating. Worldvision: Yep, this one's overrated. The "wooooosh" sound is a bit jarring and obnoxious but that's about it. Appart from that, this logo doesn't bother me too much. Rating: Medium. Closet Killer: I can definitely get the name and it could be a bit creepy and jarring to some. But it doesn't bother me too much. Rating: Low to Medium. Revue Vision: I will admit that the zoom on the camera combined with the music is a bit threatening. But it doesn't bother me too much either. Rating: Medium. Weiss Global Enterprises: This logo is more wierd than scary. That's about it. Rating: Low. Neon Mickey: I actually kinda dig this logo. I like the neon effect and the music isn't too bad either. Rating: Low to Medium. Rainbow Releasing: Actually kinda underrated. I never see it in scary logo lists and it does deffinitely creep me out. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Palace Video: I'll be honest. This logo is cheesy but i love it. But the lightning is jarring as fuck though. Rating: Medium to High. Zombastic productions: Oh yeah, this logo is bad. But even worse, the screams and the zoom in are pure nightmare fuel. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Colombiana de Television: OVERRATED. I never found this logo scary, just loud as FUCK. Rating: Low to Medium. Murghan Enterprise: I actually find this logo more BADASS than scary. The combination of the fire behing the statue and the ominous chanting makes me N U T so hard. This logo is actually kind of underrated not as a scary logo, but as a logo itself. Better examples of scary indian logos would be stuff like Manish Films or Ramsay Films. Rating: BADASS Tiger Productions: Or that. The way this logo starts is the reason why this logo is scary in my opinion, right in the eyes of the tiger. Rating: Nightmare. National Arts: HE DEFINITELY SAYS FIDGET SPINNER. But seriously, apparently, alot of people call this logo boring and i guess i could agree to an extent. but the thunder, the darkness, the chanting and the horns waking you up at the end makes this logo creepy as H E C C in my opinion. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Fincine: I find the opening melody more wierd than scary, that's about it. Rating: Low to Medium. Cocinor: This is trippy and not in a good way. The way those letters S T R E T C H and E R E C T with the intense music playing kinda creeps me out. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Renaissance Pictures: This doesn't bother me too much. It's short enough. But some of the elements like the chanting and that face (there's your renaissance reference as it is meant to be a portrait from the period) kinda give me the creeps. Rating: Low to High. Media Blasters: A bit ominous, but i don't care, i dig it, it's alot more cool than scary. Rating: Low to Medium. Ghost House Pictures: The skull apearring is kinda jarring, that's it. Rating: Low to Medium. Dark Castle: Another BADASS logo in my opinion. The gorgon face is actually pretty scary and could be potential nightmare fuel. But appart from that, i dig it. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Klasky Csupo: This logo gave me a genuine nightmare. That's all i have to tell you. I was 4, but still. And that face still gives me the creeps to this day. But the whole effects thing kinda ruined it. Rating: Medium to Nightmare. Oz Film: Yep, i hate this logo. This is the bane of my existence. I had many sleepless nights for a couple of years after seeing this logo. I'm surprised you agree with me on this one, you're the first logo content creator i saw in a long time who is actually scared of this logo. And i do agree that the violin tune in the gold variant does make it scarier for some reason. The black and white closeup is also horrible. Rating: Nightmare to HELLISH. VID: Meh. Menacing music, dark background, the mask is a bit creepy but that's it. This logo dosen't affect me in anyway. Rating: Meh-dium.
I'm sorry, but the Klasky Csupo logo has never bothered me in anyway. I actually thought it was cool, as a kid. I think this one is highly overrated, as a scary logo.
API logo with the spinning propellers was one of the few that genuinely scared me when I was little. There was also one version of the CBS logo but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I saw it on VHS tape as it was actually before my time.
Could you describe the CBS logo, you're referring to? Also, you are far from alone, in finding the API logo scary. It was before my time, but I've seen it turn up in many scary logo lists.
I’m desensitized by Klasky Csupo’s Splaat Face logo growing up that I’m not scared by it. I just don’t like Cocinor and Media Blasters’ logos though, not that great at all. Sorry, CCG, but I didn’t grow up with these companies. But with everything else, I definitely agree with you, especially with the horror film companies’ logos.
At #16 I found many theories for what the face is that was split by the lightning. The most popular ones I got were Issac Newton, Christopher Columbus, and for some reason, The Face on the Mona Lisa. (I think its definitely NOT the mona lisa.)
The company's TV variant scared the craps out of me, but I got used to it because of nostalgia being futuristic and probably exclusive. Now if you're still scared of jumpscares as a 90s kid, just try watching its logo history more than once and at very low volume. Side Note: What did happen to the company after 1999?
palace did a revision of the logo later on in the '80s with an scanimation of a palace theatre with a wooshing star flying over still with a haunting synth sound and was used for VHS releases of high spirits from 87 .

little note about the klasky csupo one: it did get a rework in 2016 for a web series about the face in the logo (named splaat) i can understand why you hate it, and honestly, it petrified me as a kid, and its rework petrifies me now
16:01 while National Arts is a Telegu company, the singing is not Telegu, rather in Sanskrit. The chant he is singing among others is ancient, coming from several thousand years ago. At the end, you hear "Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi" which is also ubiquitous is vedic/hindu chanting.

My opinions: Note: the (0/10) rates how scary I find the logo. Regal Films (3/10) - The music and the zooming R doesn't bother me, it's the cheesiness of the animation that gets to me but I do not find it that scary. When I first saw the logo, the zooming R did startle me a bit as it moved faster than the V of Doom. Worldvision Home Video (9/10) - One of the only logos which I find very scary. What gets to me is the whoosh, the dark background, but the main bit of the logo that terrifies me is the design of the W in the "globe". This always scared me. Paramount Television (2/10) - I thought this logo was infamous because of the animation, but it was the music. Anyway, the music doesn't bother me but the I find the animation rough and cheap. But overall, it's an alright logo to say the least. Revue Studios (0/10) - The melody can be a bit dramatic, but I don't find it scary at all and I like the idea of the logo being on a camera which gives it an old 20's/30's feel. In my opinion, it's a good logo. Weiss Global Enterprises (2/10) - One of the only logos in this video I seriously like, this logo's retroness is just fantastic. Sure, the animation may be rough, but the sounds make up for it. Depending on the volume, the zapping sounds can startle me a bit. Walt Disney Home Video (1/10) - I like the music and Neon Mickey but what bothers me is the off-centre text in the original version. The "Home Entertainment" text is off-centre compared to the "Walt Disney" text, but overall, I do like it. A Rainbow Releasing (5/10) - I don't like how they used footage from the 1970's, it makes the logo look like it was used in the 70's instead of the 90's. I also don't like that Orson Welles just stares at us and the text being off-centre in the 1995 version. Palace Video (3/10) - I don't mind this logo if I have to be honest, the cheapness look of the logo is a bit awful, but the actual logo itself is okay for what it is. I do agree that the warning screen can be a bit weird and unnecessary. Zombastic Productions Inc (5/10) - This is my least favourite logo in this video, the awful animation of the skull, the blurry arm and the skull zooming in is absolute dog sh*t and overall, this logo is terrible and one of my least favourite logos of all time. Colombiana De Television (3/10) - I don't know why, but I love this logo (especially the 2nd logo from 1990). I don't know what makes me like it so much. Maybe it's because of the design or I like the fire alarm sound. I guess we'll never know. Murghan Enterprises (1/10) - I like all variants of this logo, I don't know why though. I did find the original version a bit startling at first, but I got use to it over the 2 years I saw this logo. I do quite like it as of 2022. Tiger Productions (4/10) - The music doesn't bother me. It's the start of the logo with the zoomed in face of the tiger. That always scares me, but currently, it still scares me, but not as much as before. National Arts (0/10) - I dislike this logo. I don't find it scary at all but I dislike this logo because of how boring it is. I don't really get how this is a scary logo, but I do get about how people find it a boring logo. Fincine Presenta (2/10) - I honestly quite like the music and how the logo is formed is quite interesting. I do find it scary only a tiny bit depending on how loud the music is. Overall, I do like this logo and sometimes, I like to listen to the music. Cocinor (0/10) - I don't know why but the music reminds me of Looney Tunes for some reason. Probably because it sounds nostalgic, so I do like this logo, even if it's cheesy. Renaissance Pictures (1/10) - Eh, this logo is alright for what it is. I just wish the bit where the portrait gets ripped looks more realistic and maybe not have rough animation, but it is still okay. Media Blasters (0/10) - I don't find this scary at all. I do like it and it's in my opinion, a very well made logo compared to their 1997 - 2000 logo where it looks entirely cheesy. But the 2000 logo is much better and much more fun to watch. Ghost House Pictures (6/10) - When I first watched this logo, I got really scared because of the skull appearing out of nowhere and that makes me dislike this logo. I don't find it as scary anymore, but I still don't like this logo. Dark Castle Entertainment (4/10) - The gargoyle's face being really close to the camera did scare me at first, but now I'm aware when it's there. I'm not a fan of this logo, but it's alright. But I wish Dark Castle would make a new logo though. Klasky Csupo (0/10) - The sound effects at the end really annoy me, but the rest of the logo is quite fun to watch. Maybe, if it had different sound effects, then I would actually like this logo more. The Oz Film Company (2/10) - I don't know if it's because I'm use to this logo, but I can easily sit through this without looking at the logo. I do like it, even though I wish they've made an actual logo rather than get Vivian Reed to be the logo. VID (1/10) - I love this logo, the music is incredibly awesome to listen to and I really like the mask used in the logo. I first saw this logo in 2016 when I was just 8 and I never found it scary and rather an awesome logo. Overall, 15 out of the 22 logos in the list, I like/love.
I find all of them unsettling. I'm more scared of Fincine than the average person 'cause of the hidden instrument. When I first saw Cocinor, I thought it took place in outer space. The music reminds me of something out of Disney's Alice In Wonderland. The rest are scary for the same reasons why people are scared it them.

Are you sure the instrument in Fincine is a Theremin? It sounds more like someone's playing the saw with a bow -- honestly if a company is working with a low budget it seems more economically sound, even if it is a weird choice of instrument.

When I first looked at the Fincine logo, the theremin music, due to the way it's recorded, sounds to me like a very high-pitched opera lady than an actual theremin. Stereotypes play into that as well because the instrument is associated with visitors from outer space.

The Paramount Television "Closet Killer" is my favorite Paramount Television Logo. I love the fanfare since it sounds like something takes you by surprise. I also like the red background since my favorite color is red. Turns out, the fanfare was composed by Dominic Frontiere (R.I.P.).

Regal Films: A little creepy, but it never stood out too much to me
Worldvision: Never found it scary

Media Blasters: I can tell VHS was still in use at the time, and DVDs were becoming popular.
Ghost House Pictures: Reminds me of movies like The Grudge, Drag Me To Hell, and Poltergeist (2015). This is Sam Raimi once again.
Dark Castle Entertainment: I don't think it's that bad. Many of their movies may be terrible, but they do have a good logo.
Klasky Csupo: Classic, and Iconic.
The OZ Film Manufacturing Company: Oldies, But Goldies. We still care about you.
VID: The Mask is quite... Odd, but the company is very respectable.

The only logo that scares me the most is the Warner brothers 1973-1984 big w logo only because the first film that I ever saw that logo on was a horror movie called The exorcist

Aight so in tradition, i'm gonna give my own personal review of these logos.
Regal Films: I will admit that the tune (for this variant at least) is kinda creepy and the zooming R is definitely scary logo material. Also, as previously noted, there is another variant of this logo that uses a different, less creepy synth tune. It's soooooo full of 80s cheese, but I love it. But I would give the one showed in the video a good Medium to Nightmare rating.
Worldvision: Yep, this one's overrated. The "wooooosh" sound is a bit jarring and obnoxious but that's about it. Appart from that, this logo doesn't bother me too much. Rating: Medium.
Closet Killer: I can definitely get the name and it could be a bit creepy and jarring to some. But it doesn't bother me too much. Rating: Low to Medium.
Revue Vision: I will admit that the zoom on the camera combined with the music is a bit threatening. But it doesn't bother me too much either. Rating: Medium.
Weiss Global Enterprises: This logo is more wierd than scary. That's about it. Rating: Low.
Neon Mickey: I actually kinda dig this logo. I like the neon effect and the music isn't too bad either. Rating: Low to Medium.
Rainbow Releasing: Actually kinda underrated. I never see it in scary logo lists and it does deffinitely creep me out. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.
Palace Video: I'll be honest. This logo is cheesy but i love it. But the lightning is jarring as fuck though. Rating: Medium to High.
Zombastic productions: Oh yeah, this logo is bad. But even worse, the screams and the zoom in are pure nightmare fuel. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.

Tiger Productions: Or that. The way this logo starts is the reason why this logo is scary in my opinion, right in the eyes of the tiger. Rating: Nightmare.
National Arts: HE DEFINITELY SAYS FIDGET SPINNER. But seriously, apparently, alot of people call this logo boring and i guess i could agree to an extent. but the thunder, the darkness, the chanting and the horns waking you up at the end makes this logo creepy as H E C C in my opinion. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.
Fincine: I find the opening melody more wierd than scary, that's about it. Rating: Low to Medium.
Cocinor: This is trippy and not in a good way. The way those letters S T R E T C H and E R E C T with the intense music playing kinda creeps me out. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.
Renaissance Pictures: This doesn't bother me too much. It's short enough. But some of the elements like the chanting and that face (there's your renaissance reference as it is meant to be a portrait from the period) kinda give me the creeps. Rating: Low to High.
Media Blasters: A bit ominous, but i don't care, i dig it, it's alot more cool than scary. Rating: Low to Medium.
Ghost House Pictures: The skull apearring is kinda jarring, that's it. Rating: Low to Medium.
Dark Castle: Another BADASS logo in my opinion. The gorgon face is actually pretty scary and could be potential nightmare fuel. But appart from that, i dig it. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.
Klasky Csupo: This logo gave me a genuine nightmare. That's all i have to tell you. I was 4, but still. And that face still gives me the creeps to this day. But the whole effects thing kinda ruined it. Rating: Medium to Nightmare.
Oz Film: Yep, i hate this logo. This is the bane of my existence. I had many sleepless nights for a couple of years after seeing this logo. I'm surprised you agree with me on this one, you're the first logo content creator i saw in a long time who is actually scared of this logo. And i do agree that the violin tune in the gold variant does make it scarier for some reason. The black and white closeup is also horrible. Rating: Nightmare to HELLISH.
VID: Meh. Menacing music, dark background, the mask is a bit creepy but that's it. This logo dosen't affect me in anyway. Rating: Meh-dium.

API logo with the spinning propellers was one of the few that genuinely scared me when I was little. There was also one version of the CBS logo but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I saw it on VHS tape as it was actually before my time.

I’m desensitized by Klasky Csupo’s Splaat Face logo growing up that I’m not scared by it. I just don’t like Cocinor and Media Blasters’ logos though, not that great at all. Sorry, CCG, but I didn’t grow up with these companies. But with everything else, I definitely agree with you, especially with the horror film companies’ logos.

My opinions: Note: the (0/10) rates how scary I find the logo.
Regal Films (3/10) - The music and the zooming R doesn't bother me, it's the cheesiness of the animation that gets to me but I do not find it that scary. When I first saw the logo, the zooming R did startle me a bit as it moved faster than the V of Doom.
Worldvision Home Video (9/10) - One of the only logos which I find very scary. What gets to me is the whoosh, the dark background, but the main bit of the logo that terrifies me is the design of the W in the "globe". This always scared me.
Paramount Television (2/10) - I thought this logo was infamous because of the animation, but it was the music. Anyway, the music doesn't bother me but the I find the animation rough and cheap. But overall, it's an alright logo to say the least.
Revue Studios (0/10) - The melody can be a bit dramatic, but I don't find it scary at all and I like the idea of the logo being on a camera which gives it an old 20's/30's feel. In my opinion, it's a good logo.
Weiss Global Enterprises (2/10) - One of the only logos in this video I seriously like, this logo's retroness is just fantastic. Sure, the animation may be rough, but the sounds make up for it. Depending on the volume, the zapping sounds can startle me a bit.
Walt Disney Home Video (1/10) - I like the music and Neon Mickey but what bothers me is the off-centre text in the original version. The "Home Entertainment" text is off-centre compared to the "Walt Disney" text, but overall, I do like it.
A Rainbow Releasing (5/10) - I don't like how they used footage from the 1970's, it makes the logo look like it was used in the 70's instead of the 90's. I also don't like that Orson Welles just stares at us and the text being off-centre in the 1995 version.
Palace Video (3/10) - I don't mind this logo if I have to be honest, the cheapness look of the logo is a bit awful, but the actual logo itself is okay for what it is. I do agree that the warning screen can be a bit weird and unnecessary.
Zombastic Productions Inc (5/10) - This is my least favourite logo in this video, the awful animation of the skull, the blurry arm and the skull zooming in is absolute dog sh*t and overall, this logo is terrible and one of my least favourite logos of all time.
Colombiana De Television (3/10) - I don't know why, but I love this logo (especially the 2nd logo from 1990). I don't know what makes me like it so much. Maybe it's because of the design or I like the fire alarm sound. I guess we'll never know.
Murghan Enterprises (1/10) - I like all variants of this logo, I don't know why though. I did find the original version a bit startling at first, but I got use to it over the 2 years I saw this logo. I do quite like it as of 2022.
Tiger Productions (4/10) - The music doesn't bother me. It's the start of the logo with the zoomed in face of the tiger. That always scares me, but currently, it still scares me, but not as much as before.
National Arts (0/10) - I dislike this logo. I don't find it scary at all but I dislike this logo because of how boring it is. I don't really get how this is a scary logo, but I do get about how people find it a boring logo.
Fincine Presenta (2/10) - I honestly quite like the music and how the logo is formed is quite interesting. I do find it scary only a tiny bit depending on how loud the music is. Overall, I do like this logo and sometimes, I like to listen to the music.
Cocinor (0/10) - I don't know why but the music reminds me of Looney Tunes for some reason. Probably because it sounds nostalgic, so I do like this logo, even if it's cheesy.
Renaissance Pictures (1/10) - Eh, this logo is alright for what it is. I just wish the bit where the portrait gets ripped looks more realistic and maybe not have rough animation, but it is still okay.
Media Blasters (0/10) - I don't find this scary at all. I do like it and it's in my opinion, a very well made logo compared to their 1997 - 2000 logo where it looks entirely cheesy. But the 2000 logo is much better and much more fun to watch.
Ghost House Pictures (6/10) - When I first watched this logo, I got really scared because of the skull appearing out of nowhere and that makes me dislike this logo. I don't find it as scary anymore, but I still don't like this logo.
Dark Castle Entertainment (4/10) - The gargoyle's face being really close to the camera did scare me at first, but now I'm aware when it's there. I'm not a fan of this logo, but it's alright. But I wish Dark Castle would make a new logo though.
Klasky Csupo (0/10) - The sound effects at the end really annoy me, but the rest of the logo is quite fun to watch. Maybe, if it had different sound effects, then I would actually like this logo more.
The Oz Film Company (2/10) - I don't know if it's because I'm use to this logo, but I can easily sit through this without looking at the logo. I do like it, even though I wish they've made an actual logo rather than get Vivian Reed to be the logo.
VID (1/10) - I love this logo, the music is incredibly awesome to listen to and I really like the mask used in the logo. I first saw this logo in 2016 when I was just 8 and I never found it scary and rather an awesome logo.
Overall, 15 out of the 22 logos in the list, I like/love.

I find all of them unsettling. I'm more scared of Fincine than the average person 'cause of the hidden instrument. When I first saw Cocinor, I thought it took place in outer space. Are you sure the instrument in Fincine is a Theremin? It sounds more like someone's playing the saw with a bow -- honestly if a company is working with a low budget it seems more economically sound, even if it is a weird choice of instrument.

Even though I love the 1986 to 2001 Walt Disney home video logo because of the music and animation but they use in tandem with the 1991 logo until 2001
Please check the series called _Calls_ on Apple TV+. The production companies at the end of each episode can be considered scary (Studio Canal+, Bad Hombre and Logan).
