I saw Niatross race at Greenwood Race track. It was a cold, cold day that Saturday afternoon. Some clown was picking up all the programs everyone was throwing away after the last race that day.
@@parkerbohnn That was me !! Sold them all 40 years after to USTA members attending a harness racing symposium in Vegas. Paid for my trip !! Marie Carson got Clint to sign a few for me !! I still have Programs signed by the big three's drivers Paul for SBSW Pat for Cam Fella and of course Clint and Niatross............I remember a guy on the streetcar on my way home saying to me that they would be worth something someday. Greenwood was my playground !
@@kenglass7833 That's great!! I was the guy who always played the pinball machines at Greenwood and across the street at the Orchard Park tavern. I was a friend of Barrel Beans. The fat guy who always used to laugh like Curly in The Three Stooges. Remember the guy who used to laugh in the lineups and then everyone would start laughing? His real name was Jim Cody.
The seventies were my favourite memories by far, being going to greenwood raceway since 1960's, thank god we have videos to relive fantastic feelings, little brown jug is a marvel in harness racing.
Thanks for the great history
Thank you for posting love being able to watch my cousin Clint drive
I watched him forever up in NY in the 1970s. I forget the weight they listed him at. He didn't have to do much with that horse.
Greatest horse ever. Todays conditions he'd pace 45
