I used to like European’s designer and niche fragrances but saw one video of Jeremy telling that to make a fragance it cost you $10 and they resell it around $100 . Then i just fell in love with house of Lattafa’s fragrances and they are longer lasting and has greater smell than most of expensive fragrances that i have used , therefore i regret buying expensive fragrances because i wasted a lot of money .
I own both. I often do comparison with people that come home. They say it's similar and even prefer asad. However, I agree on the longevity. I'm not writing to contradict what you have said. You might detect all these differences because you have trained nose. But for average people it's is similar

I am not lying brother, i had this morning asad and historic olmeda from notino France. I am from paris and has been into fragrances since 3 years. I have not that much collection of fragrances but i have some unique such as Sauvage Elixir, bleu de chanel EDP, valentino born in roma, tom ford ombré leather, creed aventure and few many more. But literally i loved so much these two. I applied asad this morning before got out and its 18h30 i can still smell as i spread the morning. So much long lasting these made year 2023 actually.
Forget oud for Glory - Asad is ten times better ! Lasts good 6 hours on my skin and smells amazing , had so many compliments off this and kismet 🔥 as a BBQ 🍗….
Glory is 95% of Greatness, most people will definitely NOT notice the difference. At 1/10th of the price. After my OFG bottle is empty will definitely continue with my Glory bottle and not spend another 300 euro's, I just cant justify it anymore.

I got this today and paid the equivalent of 23 USD. Initially, the opening is a lot. It's very strong to me but it is fantastic. The vanilla is present for the beginning however the spices shine. Very spicy in the beginning. The dry down is where this shines for me. Vanilla and amber. It definitely has the feel of a 80s fragrance but still doesn't smell out dated. I've had two sprays on my wrist and it's been 6 hours. It's still projecting so on my skin the performance is going to be very good. Great purchase Also please review the profumo clone and compare it to jazzab silver. I will also appreciate any lataffa recommendations for high heat
The Profumo clone (Suqraat) is not worth it in my honest opinion. It does smell similar to Profumo, but the performance is horrible. Theres no projection or longevity even if you spray it on clothes.
I only bought a tester of Asad vs a full bottle of Elixir. Not even close to Sauvage Elixir in my opinion. Yes, they've tried to copy it, but it has very different notes at all 3 stages. Sauvage Elixir is amazing, although I would suggest you need to be in your late 30s at to carry it off. Sauvage EDT for teens and 20s, progressing through the range for older age groups. That seems confirmed by most reviewers.
@@AccentBwoy Because it makes a difference! Everything from desired projection through to dry/oily skin (teens generally have oily). Sauvage Elixir would smell 'old' on a youngster which is probably not what is wanted, whereas it is sophisticated and restrained compared to the EDT on 30s plus. .

They smell pretty similar to me, when u wear elixir daily then smell asad for the first time u find it similar.. not 100% similar of course asad is smoother and a bit gourmandish
Would you say Asad is the best alternative to Elixir? Fragrances are so subjective because you will have those folks that say a particular clone smells nothing like the original then when i get my nose on it, it is very very accurate to original and vice versa.

And tbh we wished Elixir wasnt that expensive, the price is a bit ridiculous for a 60ml, and on purpose they cancelled the release of a 100ml, if u buy the first bottle, finish it then get a scd bottle that would cost 340$ for a total of 120ml that is way too much for a designer.. u can get a whole bunch of frags for that amount or like 3 good niche frags...
I also bought this because it was said to be a close clone of SE. I don't have the $$$ for elixir so I got this. TBH I have a love/hate thing with asad. Its strong in the open and there is something I dont like. It's really piercing and hot. It does die down in an hour but is still there. Other than that I really love the backbone. Strong all day long. For me this is a winter time fragrance.

To my untrained nose, they are very similar. The only difference I get is the OG is spicier and asad is a lil sweeter.
