I saw you starting to stream but I missed the actual stream. There is no tuning drift on the WASP because they use digitally tuned oscillators. 😆The rest is analog of course and those filters probably are not calibrated the same. I have two TT-303 Bass Bots and one has more low end frequency content than the other. The usual culprit for these sonic differences is in what is called the "tuning components" which are mostly just capacitors and resistors and 5% tolerance IS going to sound less consistent than 1% tolerance (component quality).
My opinion of effects on synths... Im very particular with my effects and I prefer to have continuity and consistency. In a studio the synth should be a synth as opposed to a swiss army knife. Another lesson I learned. The quality of the interface and mixer is paramount.
@@hanzvolt I totally agree with you, but I do also enjoy synthesizes with FX. I also have a generous amount of outboard gear and also plug-ins that I do use with my synthesizers.
Interesting. For me a synth is what I can make it be: a soft lead, a random noise maker, a pad machine, a tasteful dash of purposeful notes... external effects just help to set a mood.
