Thank you for your teaching. I am a former Baptist minister and the son of a former Baptist minister, we both joined this the restored Church of Jesus Christ 50 years ago. I was preaching a sermon in the Baptist church and I said there is no other scripture than the Holy Bible, such as the Book of Mormon, A voice said in my mind said, "how do you know that is true," it startled me and I thought, I don't know only that is what I was told. That began my quest to search for knowledge. I went searching and found no evidence of the restored Church until I tracked down a Book of Mormon. I investigated further and a member setup a meeting with the missionaries. I took the discussions and my questions were being answered: who we are, where we came from, why we are here and what happens after mortality. I gained a testimony that this is the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. I joined this Church and baptized my family and my father and mother and we baptized 14 members of our families including 4 generations the 1st year alone. THIS IS THE TRUE AND RESTORED CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST. I know it and God knows I know it. God bless your efforts in spreading the Word of the Restoration. Amen
May i ask how you overcome obvious discrepancies of Joseph Smith. How do you overlook his former employment as gold digger? How do you overlook the obvious DNA test’s done on Native Indians proofing they are not jews?

I am 82 year old and when I was a boy my uncle cut a forked branch off a hickory tree and found underground water (it is called a dowsing rod). What I wanted to know, is the Book of Mormon true. That is the key. If it is true then Joseph Smith is a prophet and Jesus Christ has Restored His Church. If Jesus Christ has restored His Church I want to be a part of it. As far as DNA the native tribes around the southern Great Lakes area (New York, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri area have DNA markers that show a link to the Israeli people area. When I was a boy the preacher in the Church of God was preaching on the 2nd coming and said that it would not happen until Israel was restored and Christ Church was restored. I was nine years old in 1948, I heard on my short wave radio when the United Nations took a vote and "restored the nation of Israel." I heard a miracle happen for I did not know how Israel could ever be restored. I, as others, were told that the so called "Mormons" were not Christian. While studying the Book of Mormon, my wife and I received a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that Jesus Christ has restored His Church. God has given a promise in the Book of Mormon - Moroni 10:4. that after reading the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is true, the Holy Spirit will make it known to you. To know if something is true takes action, you have to test it, just like tithing. I did and I have been satisfied for 50 years. If you don't read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover, you will never know. I hope you find it brother. I know that Jesus Christ has restored His Church to the earth and it is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

The article is about a papyrus roll (P. Amherst 63) discovered in the late 19th century at Luxor (ancient Thebes). It took more than 120 years to decipher the text. It was discovered that Egyptian Demotic script had been used to write Aramaic text! The translation turned out to include three Israelite psalms written about 400BC. This is an example of "reformed Egyptian" used by Israelites and discovered by non-Mormons!!

This is a direct scriptural reference to the Salt Lake Temple, which is surrounded by mountains, has people from all over the world traveling to it all year round, and is located in a place that is named "tops of the mountains" not by the church, but by the Indians and the US government. So, the above scripture accurately translates to "...It shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in Utah...". The Temple construction had been completed in 1893, but the state of Utah wasn't named until 1896 by the government. In other words, the church was well "established" in the state long before it was named after an Indian name that meant "tops of the mountains".

As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we believe that the Jews were scattered all over the world and native Americans are their remnant in this land. The Book of Mormon is their record of the things that Jesus Christ has done among them.
