    Please pray for me and my children. Prayers are all I need. I’m so discouraged and I’m losing hope. I’ve had so many people come against me that do not know me or my situation. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS the truth and my heart! My struggles are real! Jesus hear my prayers. I still trust in you and will keep my faith even though it is so very difficult at this time. I’m constantly faced with hardships and can barely support my two sons. Both of my boys are autistic and non verbal. I’m a single mom and I’m overwhelmed. Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital for declining the vaccine. I declined because of my health conditions lupus and heart disease. I recently started waitressing and I’m glad to be working. But I’m just not making enough to get by. Every month is a struggle choosing groceries over paying bills. Struggling to pay rent. I know God doesn’t give us more than we can handle I will keep faith even though I truly want to give up. Jesus hear my prayers and keep me and my children safe I’m losing hope. ❤

      I don't see the account of Samson's life depressing or a fail at all. Manoah his Father feared The Lord as did his Mother. Her womb was sealed up until the appropriate time when The Lord would use their son to deliver the remnant of Israel from the Philistines. When he wanted the Philistine young woman as a wife he wasn't sinning or disobeying his parents, it was The Lord's plan so that he would harass and terrorize the wicked people who worshipped false gods and sacrificed children to demons. As believers we will never receive our rewards in the fallen world but we build up our treasures in Heaven by faith and obedience. Samson's death is another prophetic vision of the Messiah sacrificing himself while absolutely crushing the Kingdom of darkness.
      Genesis 3:15
      "..he will crush your head, and you will strike his heal."

  • @martinloo9543
    @martinloo9543 Рік тому +26

    Too bad Samson was not smart enough to realize Delilah was trying to find the secret of his strength and weaken him so he could be captured by the Philistines. Delilah tested Samson several times after he gave her false information about the secret to his strength.
    Samson was too over confident and slept with the enemy and foolishly revealed the secret to his strength to Delilah.
    Samson is lucky he repented for his sins and God rewarded him with vengeance for the last time.

    • @aaronsweet8032
      @aaronsweet8032 Рік тому

      So from a secular viewpoint I would cite archeology and general verifiable historisity to support Christianity. And one thing about myths there always seems to be nuggets of truth to them. Troy/Trojan war, sea monsters, Labyrinth on Crete... I would even say Atlantis is a real location as well. I kinda equate them to fish stories, you'll hear some incredible tales and they probably aren't all what they're cracked up to be but they still caught the fish. The thing with Biblical accounts is that these people and places are real. You can go to Jerusalem, you can see the Jordan river, you can visit Calvary... Take Noah's Ark, at face value you're definitely thinking that's a myth, but you look at that extra-biblically and you'll find that Josephus a historian working for the Romans says "oh yeah, the flood's totally true, you can see the Ark for yourself in Asia Minor"(paraphrase) It has even been said the Ark could be seen up until the 1800's, might even be a picture of it online... And when you think about such a statement from a historian, it'd better be true; and even if it was added you'd still need the evidence to back up that claim. Then you have texts mentioning David and Solomon, Hezekiahs seal, the burnt up grounds thought to be Sodom and Gommorah, the temple mount especially, second temple, tomb of the patriarchs, the lachish relief, and it's all real and true. At that point, one can start questioning the accounts... The places are real, the people existed, so are the stories true? The foundational belief of Christianity is that Jesus rose from the dead and this story is attested by the disciples and apostles. All except John died horribly and I find it hard to believe that these men would be willing to die over a fabrication... I hope this is a bit more intellectually identifiable for you, the lady above means well I know (and I agree with her) but probably not the best way to challenge someone with your viewpoint...

    The funny thing about all of the artistic renditions and depictions of Samson, know where is it mentioned in scripture anywhere that Samson actually was a bodybuilder or was a man of overbuilt stature (a strong man)....
    All of his feats where accomplished when one thing took place in one thing only... when the Holy Spirit came over him.
    That, was the qualifier, there's nothing in the Bible that says Samson was a big guy...

      Samson is the Hebrew for Sun, and his birth was as followeth: His reputed father's name was Manoah, which is simply a variation of Noah = Earth = Joseph, the husband of Mary! Mrs. Samson (whose Christian name, unfortunately, has not come down to us), like most of the celebrated women of the Bible, " was barren, and bare not" However, as good luck would have it, " the angel of the Lord (the Ram Aries) appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, thou shalt conceive and bear a son " (Jud. 13.3). The woman, not at all abashed at the annunciation, immediately told her husband who was not far off (earth in Virgo) the joyful news. Manoah signified at once his desire that "the man of God" (who doubtless resembled somewhat the men of God of our day) should again visit his wife, and entreated the Lord to let him come again, that he might tell them what to do with the child. It seems "the woman" became enciente during her first interview with "the man of God." However, "the man of God" very condescendingly came at the instance of Manoah, a second time. Curiously enough, too, it happened that "the woman" was alone this time, when "the man of God" came. On being apprised that "the man of God" had come again, Manoah hasted to see him, and being somewhat inquisitive, asked: "What is thy name?” This was all very natural, as every husband would like to know what kind of company his wife kept during his absence. "The angel of the Lord " (Aries), or " the man of God " (Gabriel), however, perhaps a little suspicious, answered Manoah's question by asking another: " Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret? " (Jud. 13.18). The root of the word here translated "secret," is phal in Sanskrit; in Greek, phallos; and in Latin, phallus = the male generative organ. These words are all the same except in termination, as any linguist can see.

      I believe that the gym, and eating properly will give you discipline. God states that out body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, so we should all treat it well so we can serve him well. So yes bro, continue to hit the gym and make your physical body as strong and disciplined as possible (and hey I fucking love the aesthetic and moggin other people, but that's likely not important in the eyes of good), but never EVER forget what it's for. Carrying out Gods will. You as a strong and healthy man can serve God in more ways than most others. Remember God comes first, and let your Holy Spirit dictate what you do with your powers. Also as a human, what's your 1RM for SDB LMAO?

    Almost all the pictures of Samson have him being like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime. If that would have been the case, then there would have been no mystery to his super strength. So, I am fairly confident Samson was just an average size man with no hulking muscles.
