So he never experienced opiate withdrawal?? Cuz that changes you permanently. Unless he barely touched it. Id say opiates and benzos are the 2 drugs that are on a physical level, you need them to function. Other drugs even meth, are controllable. You just have to be mentally strong and test yourself. However, if you are wealthy, you will always have heroin or opiates. Otherwise you will need methadone to maintain wout opiates. You can cold turkey over and over, but its horrible, bad for your body to constantly be in withdrawal and will consume your life. Even without methadone, there is a void that is desperate to be filled. Like losing a loved one. No other drug has that kind of power. Opiates are a lifelong battle and is a drug that never leaves for good. People tend to not understand just how serious it is. Dope sickness needs to be taught in healthclass as its own Chapter.

Well said and very spot on. I unfortunately have first hand experience of the opiate world and the utter pain, suffering and misery it can bring. I won an intense ten year battle against heroin being blessed by my parents throwing good money at two rehab stays and my own resolution that I would not cross the line between sniffing and shooting. My first detox I experienced a pain and suffering that I would not wish on my greatest enemy. If I could picture my own version of what hell would be like, it would encompass the physical detox symptoms I experienced.

You have to kick the maintenance drugs too like I did. Not impossible but the drug treatment clinics would like you to believe it's a life long battle. Quit going with the WILL of the powers that be. You'll make it a life long thing like that

@@lennonhendrixamaru5800 For me and everyone i know that has been on opiates and methadone for years, has a void that needs to be filled without it. The truth is recovery isn't one size fits all. If u were qble to get out more power to u but ive accepted that i had to get on methadone because suboxone just helped my addiction and no matter how many times i detox i go back. Going cold turkey never stopped me from using. I needed a maintenance program and it saved my life. But opiates and benzos are drugs that really make ppl emotionally and physically addicted. It needs to be taught better in schools

Someone wiser than myself often said that dope fiends are misguided mystics. I am a mystic, but to discover it I had to get off the shit. Jim Morrison always said that the road of excess leads to wisdom. I used to think that was the dumbest shit I ever heard. By the time I got strung out, I understood. I was wise enough to know that it the excess meant nothing. i could have all the dope in the world and I would run out. Wisdom does equal happiness.

Leonardo da Vinci said " The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions " Plato shared with us wisdom he learnt from Egypt, wisdom that was a death sentence in Greece, Rome (Christianity) ..Pythagoras, Socrates and later Hypatia of Alexandria. Plato in his dialogue "The Republic " tells the parable of "The Cave " Plato starts by telling us of prisoners being held in a underground den, let us examine this den via the geometry of Bernhard Riemann and Felix Klein..Klein bottle..3rd and 4th dimensions. Plato tells us that the prisoners are bound up unable to move their heads, let us examine this bondage via the psychology of Erich Fromm..socialisation of consciousness..aware-unaware. Plato tells us that the prisoners mistake shadows for substance, let us examine this mistake via the philosophy of Thales, Hume and Kant..synthetic a priori judgement..not thing in itself. Plato tells us that one of the prisoners is released, let us examine this release via the wisdom of T Lobsang Rampa..stilling the mind and conscious astral travel..leaving the cave/body. Plato tells us that the prisoners will reject this release, let us examine this rejection via the psychology of Stockholm Syndrome..Plato quotes Homer..forgive them for they know not what they say. Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds. Mathew 23 13 31.

Probably explains a lot of the violence I’ve had in my life as well. I just wish people understood how serious damaging a child is. I can literally remember the last time I felt real happiness. June 8th 1991 have only felt “good” after using massive doses of heroin and benzos and that always comes to a crashing end. Crowley could have done so many things but chose to push the moral limits of humans and religion. He definitely was an intellectual, but a bit misguided. He does say things that make perfect sense. Also things that are unnecessarily disturbing. I think he pushed the shock factor. He represents the period of time we are in where religion has been looked at as, outdated. Religion used to be the answer and explained a lot. I feel now it explains next to nothing other than people who were brainwashed at an early age, peoples personal beliefs and the same argument of, 'im right you're wrong" mentality that is extremely one sided. I believe there is a supreme being who made us. Other than that, i don't know anything. I went to catholic school and even switched to non denominational Christianity, however, i never had formed my own ideologies based on what ive been through which i feel we all have a right to explore. I believe none of us know anything for sure but we come to the best conclusion and move on. I believe there is more unknown then known. And we have been ignorantly repeating history. Like De Ja Vu. We have been here before. I don't say God because of the religious stigma. Supreme Creator is the same idea. Religion in my opinion is different in different regions because i think their books including Bible, have leasons that are priceless and pertain to life. It is all in a kind of mythological story however. This is why the Bible causes so many arguments, because people take it literal. If you take it literal, i believe you miss the point. And there are contradictions, because they are meant to be stories you learn from. Even Today the Bible has mysterious energy around it and i don't think anyone can make 100 percent sense of it all. This is where faith comes in. We all already live in a hellish world. We need to stop letting religion, something sacred nomatter what belief, seperate us. To say one is right and everyone else burns in hell is beyond extreme and ignorant. The reality is nobody knows that and that would be many people burning. The Churches have fueled the fire more than anything else. An all loving God wouldnt do that to the kingdom he created. We are all here which in my eyes mean we are all Gods people. The Jewish people represent money and materialistic life and that is the opposite of Godly qualities. Yet if they are Gods chosen people, what is it that makes them better? Each religion has its defense. Religion is man made, not God made. You can believe your religion is right, but it won't end the fight. Separate religion, and day to day life. It puts up more of a wall then a bridge to connect w others.

He was a witch or warlock. Which I am not saying is bad at all. Many spell casters are great loving people. I can't call him a mystic or a shaman because this man wasn't actually spiritually connected fully. That's not my opinion, I've seen how mystics and shamans operate. He did some good, I see for sure. We are ALL connected to nature, god, universe anyone can do good. He was not clear enough as a being to get to the level of mystic or shaman. When you become those ways of being, There's a fierce loving force of nature energy that walking with and emanating within you. Creation energy. Source whatever you call it. If your letting your ego run the show and your just doing whatever, you may astral project , see spirits, have successful spell, and even get downloads but The soul is not fully connected too. That causes issues in a myriad of ways. Doing things without soul connection is possible, most people do that right now with spirituality not taken seriously. But no one prefers their life force not to be flowing through their bodies and being in pain. If he were to heal himself and do the work of a mystic or shaman , He would have been a more positive force in the world. He would have not needed drugs or s*x. Yes, your here , your human obviously and you've chosen to answer the mystic call, You can make love. You can do everything anyone else can do but there's no longer thinking this is the only way to make love. The animal self, human self, and divine self are unified. You don't crave sex like an aleister Crowley. You don't even have to touch a person to give them an orgasm . This man was not mystical at all lol.

First, Crowley rhymes with "holy"; you pronounced his name wrong. Although he waffled back and forth on this, he ultimately believed that the True Will resided in the Unconscious Mind. By focusing on drugs you are ignoring the intricacy of the magical curriculum he put together; I refer you to "One Star in Sight", "Graduum Montis Abiegni", "Liber Collegii Sancti:, etc.

By taking copious amounts of drugs, Crowley was ignoring his own curriculum, just sayin. It's even worthy of future segments on the man, to paint an accurate picture of him. No one does that amount of drugs and not have their work, or even their entire life, center around the substances. Maybe the early days of his works were less centered around drugs, but like we've all seen by now, the train comes off the tracks in time. I don't think he was wrong by making this about his habits. It was a huge piece of Crowleys tapestry. Be well

Imo, one can certainly do their shadow work and become self realized, while still having their darkness's, but I differ a bit concerning my idea of enlightenment (Light, not dark) it seems. I think that to attain the final steps of enlightenment, one would have to purify their Temple, to overcome some of the impure qualities which make us human, specifically, those which are in are control and they can be overcome thru discipline. This would be idea of mind over matter, or in this case, "mind/Spirit, over Physicality." I hope that makes sense, perhaps our idea of enlightenment, varies a bit.

Crowley isn’t persé a “drug fiend.” A more nuanced approach would be to make the distinction between a “Crowley 1” & a “Crowley 2,” i.e., the writings of Crowley before he made his India-journey (about potential benefits of the use of drugs, both in terms of spiritual exploration and creative inspiration,) & the writings after his India-journey (about the dangers of using addictive substances.)
“Crowley 1” experimented with various substances, including opium, hashish, & mescaline, viewing them as tools for expanding consciousness & accessing altered states that might offer deeper insights into the mysteries of existence.
But after his experiences in India, Crowley’s perspective seems to have shifted. The intense spiritual practices & the different cultural attitudes he encountered likely influenced his views.
The writings of “Crowley 2,” became more cautious about drug use, acknowledging the dangers of addiction & the destructive potential of substances when misused.

I heard his name, and a close friend of my father's would talk about an Englishman who was living in Malta. Every morning our family, friend, Aldo Zagami, would tell me about this kind, man, who he would wake up before the suns alarm clock😅. Aldo told me this person was a gentleman. He would stand like a stork in deep meditation. And, was very happy to teach Aldo yoga. He said, This Englishman taught him yoga, and that summer they met every morning. He told him yoga has 12 disciplines. His Italian was impeccable and taught him about clearing out the mind and Chant, AUM. Aldo said, he had a entourage of snotty, limeys, who were usually asleep till late. He said his name was something he could not remember but the man told him to just call him Bobba😅. When the other people would be there they were mean and drunk, hmm I wonder who this Brit was😮.
My ❤and understanding for ACs' responsibility was great. He was not just some dope fiend, but an Incarnate who was there to usher in the Aquarian age. 😮He was lost in the Kush mountains, these high priests of the Sivagana rescued him and he learned Kasmir Shaivism from a high order who never before him have seen nor met any white men, ever. I read that he returned to the order, and became one of the highest initiates of this rare order. So in his 20s he experienced, Samadhi. People who usually attain Samadhi are in their 40s, , or not till their 50s or older. My dear Frater Perderabo,, you are you! Your Wunderlist and lust for life and uncovering the secrets of the past was a act of bravery, and to judge you because you enjoyed life with gusto, you swashbuckling, man of the sea, who laid out the blueprints for people who wish they were as intelligent and free. Our souls have crossed the forbidden, parameters that most feared with their immoral brands of half assed mystical, malarchycy. Cheers and ❤to you. Love is our law, Thelma is our cry. Your name will always bring a smile for miles . You are beautiful and laid the Golden, road to eternal, happiness within the bosom of the mother Goddess. We will soon cross paths again and we shall dance this intricate dance of death as Nuit Cradles the canopy of stars above us, and dive into inky , seas of night .!🙉🙈🙊
So mote it be honey bee

Do you know he was a repeated PDF file? Little boys were often in his deals. This is documented and not under controversy. You maybe only know the 'cool' stuff? Our you think PDF file behaviour is noble and worth admiring? He wanted these boundaries broken.

"what went on in your head..." Actually it was pdf file behaviour. Weird that people think this creep was cool. Either ignorance or they are all pdf files themselves/ I don't doubt that about a quarter of the people on this page know this and think it's hot.

The veil that hides the mysteries of the universe is woven of silence. The answers reveal themselves to the mystic in solitude and silence. Drugs - of any kind - are trapdoors on the path to enlightenment.

Imo chemicals are the only way for SOME not all Western peoples who have little to no prior religious or spiritual background to see through the veil of reality.

I would love to finish listening to this but the narrator is butchering the script….i just can’t follow…

The narrator is just a regular guy (like you and me). This is not the highly polished mainstream media. He’s got 2k followers, not 200k. And, it is very likely that he both wrote the scrip and read it out in a single take. He probably gets little to no compensation for this channel. I think we should give him a break for not doing everything perfectly and appreciate what he did put together well.
