From Nothing to Something - History of the Panzer III

The Panzer III was meant to be Germany's primary tank, doing everything from fighting enemy tanks to supporting infantry against strong enemy positions. Its journey from prototype to final product was tough, facing technical problems and bureaucratic obstacles, which showed Germany's difficulties in making tanks efficiently. Even with many improvements, it couldn't keep up with Soviet tanks, so production stopped in 1943. But its story reveals a lot about innovation, competition, and the tough job of building tanks during war, a story which is worth looking into.
