Great workout. I really wished I'd been running when I was your age but sadly only got into running in my early 40's. 10 years later and I still love it. Hope you have a great running year in 2023
2:32 -> 2:20 is nuts, especially for December! I am calling a sub 4:32 / PR in the mile this year, you heard it here first! Rooting for you and Spencer.
Tube somehow gave me suggestion to Your channel.. well, first to that 5K Alaska mountain marathon, but still running channel. And I am glad that it did because after a decade my knees were bust and no running at all, 😕, watching You to run down that mountain.. man.. I used to love off course running and this training at on the track; it looked soooo easy and smooth! You could have outpaced "the rabbit" even on the first round! Reaching my fifties (who stole the Years!?) and on the road with bike I still tend to watch how people run.. so often see horrible styles and very bad pacing.. old and wore out shoes.. people killing their feet "bad way" so to see someone, You, to run this nice and easy is just a reminder from the "good old days"! Keep up the pace and having fun! Laughter and smiles after a "horrid" training.. runners high! Best feeling ever and can be felt even through videos and films! Wishing all the best and enjoyable kilometers on the shoes! \o/
Amazing workout. Awesome feeling to be that strong going into the final rep!!! I have adopted Spencer’s glove fashion and can’t believe how genius it is.
Another banger of a video! The coffee, Georgie, whatever Spencer is doing in the background, my favorite cameraman, a solid random pacer, and the epic workout! When to finish! 🙂
I gave it a like. I'm getting really excited watching your videos knowing that your best days of running are ahead of you. There is no doubt in my mind if you keep training like you have been you will achieve automatic qualifying standards for the outdoor championships.
Now, I understand that Miler may not be Miler's real name, but whether or not it is, that is the perfect name for his role today! Great pace, good-looking workout (I almost said "fun" looking workout, but maybe not ...), and it makes me smile to see you surrounded by a group of supportive friends and / or partner! 😊
Allie, thanks for sharing your workout, I really enjoyed watching it. Awesome workout, Spencer and whoever else coaches you has to be very pleased with that effort. You looked really smooth and controlled the entire workout, with really good stride mechanics. Best regards.....
@@allie_ostrander Allie, it is really nice of you to respond to me, I have been rooting for you since you were in HS and I really wish you the very best. You have had some real bumps in the road but hopefully now you are on the way back up to the top and I am looking forward to 2023 and whatever races you decide to run. Best regards.
That was impressive. You are FSS ....Fast, Smooth, and Strong....or FSVS....Fast, Smooth, and Very Strong! I think that hill running at elevation is kicking in. I used to do 6-10, 800 intervals, typically around 3:10, and the last one about 2:55, at least prior to my third heart surgery. For being a 40+ year old marathon runner that wasn't the worst, but you guys are so fast you could do an interval and drink a beer and wait for me to come in, and I think Spencer could take down two beers! You are strong....I mean really strong! Well done!
Hi Allie happy vlogmas day and happy December and happy holidays and happy Monday night and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel because you are amazing Supporter
What a smooth controlled workout. Kept dropping your times. Is it the black coffee? I think you just had to get back to the ever loving "GEORGIE BOY" great motivation for sure!
I did this workout today! Training for the 3200 and added some 200s and 100s in at the end, was surprisingly hard and I feel like its a pretty balanced workout for a wide range of distances
You looked very good in that workout. (One thing that has kept me strong through the years is running at certain times 1s and 2s uphill and jogging back down.) [And here I'm keeping from telling my great recent results. 🤣]. I hope to see y'all in some race videos soon.
I suffer from ITBS and my PT prescribed that I foam roll the ligaments & tendons around the IT band -- from knee to hip -- rather than the IT band itself because the ITB is practically a truck tire; and foam rolling the ITB is relatively useless. Seems to work.
She runs very comfortable, and I like her leg form and stride length. Speed work is so helpful, and hills, too. It helps to run clockwise around the track to develop evenly (very important).
A shockingly impressive workout! It was so good, that word on the street says the House Select Committee wants to know if you will be running any indoor races. No pressure, though. If you take the fifth on this issue then so be it. Great job!
Very impressive running! You were clearly working hard but everything looked under control. Form looked very good, arm carriage and, in particular, rear leg drive. Any plans for a race in the near future?

P.S The tune from rep 3 on was funky... :)
Very strong! Also, the video edit / quality of this channel just keeps improving. Next season is going to be awesome!
Thank you!!! I’m trying 🙏🙌
Hey Allie, I love your little dog. I love my dog more than most people lol.
I just love the warm ups you’ve been havin. Not the ones on the track the ones in the kitchen!! Great workout too you looked so relaxed
Great workout Allie. Look forward to seeing this translate competitivly soon
Nothing better than a workout that goes really well... And, nothing better than the human body doing what it was designed to do, really well!🏃♀🏃♀
low-key paced by Boise State Cross Country All-American Miler Haller, by the way. Yes, his name is Miler, don't get it twisted. :)
Your form is amazing Allie 🙌!!!!
Intervalls with a pacer are a luxury. You do have a very elegant stride.

Great progression and progress on this one! Excited for the journey
That is some sick pacing. Great job, Miler!! If only I had a pacer.
He carried me through this workout

Absolutely crushed it 🔥

Nice video. Good workout.
You are amazing!! I love how you make everything in life cute or fun, like “strideroonies” lol. Also how do you know what pace is your vo2 max pace?
You can calculate it from race paces.
Amazing great running
Great workout.
makes me want to do a track workout during swim season lol great workout kid
Haha I’m sure a track workout would feel easy compared to swim practice 💀😵
Good work Ali x
Perfect form.
My IG guess of 2:19.2 was close! Good job!
2:19 next time maybe…

Nice workout. You look strong! Do you have your first indoor race scheduled yet?
Not yet!
How do you find tracks to run on?

I added apples, vanilla protein, cinnamon, and granola!

How do you feel running the bends with a high stack height shoe? I struggled in the vapors

So VO2 max means as fast as you can, right?
No

I need to get in that kinda shape : your last rep will win my age group 65-69 at nationals.

Why you so fast?
Are you sponsored by a shoe company right now?
not at the moment, no

impressive, great job, there is some ground for improvement and you can go under 15 minutes for the 5000 m.
