Pea Chicks too.Maybe call one "Sweet" (Pea) MaryCarl.Youre the Best
Love you guys! Your Channel along with some others inspired my wife and I to leave the city and buy our farm! My wife even ended up getting 32 chickens mainly because of your farm!
I built a shower a while back and thanks to youtube, I discovered Kerdi membrane and how to use it. No more rotting behind the tiles. I'm really happy I discovered your channel. One of the best.
Jason, get some Hi-Vis irrigation/utility flags and create a "trail" to Ozella. I loved it when you said "Wide Load"; It was a long time phrase in my family's language ❤️
😘😘. We had a volunteer fig after 3 years got nothing. A grower said to plant right next to it a producer and be patient cus their cycle been broken for a while. 3 years later covered in blooms. 4th year got 20 quarts of jam. Mamma tree so big at 25 years old kids have a small fort from fig to black walnut tree. The rains have truly helped your crop. Can’t wait till excavation done and what plans are for turkey pen. We use to find old places to be torn down then piece by piece bring it back to build unique pens for ALL animals. Began to look like an old town all brightly painted. Your place looks so similar so was wondering if that’s what you do ........bring life into something old. Each pen is like paradise for your flock and herd. Keep saying a prayer for your pea hen to hatch her babies and then she’ll come home to stay. Dare to say they are the funniest to watch as they grow. Especially when they learning to fly. It’s popsicle time fo me now that I’ve had some Cog time ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wanted to share something I just learned. Nitrogen suppliments for the garden create great green tops. However 🥕 and other root veggies don't like. For bigger carrots they want phosphate and potassium. Think root growth. Hope it helps for bigger carrots, can't wait to try.🤔😁
Wow! I have never heard of that breed of chicken. That's awesome I would love to have that breed on our Homestead I'm going to look into that. Cream legbars are awesome too. Thanks Jason for sharing you and Mary Carl.🙂
I am no expert but maybe adding more hay to the chicken laying boxes might help encourage the hens to lay in the boxes. You have a lot of layers, looking forward to seeing the new ones hatch out. Thanks for posting.
Tie a ribbon around a tree new Ozellas nest so you can find it easier! Lol love your channel, we watch religiously and have learned so much as new homesteaders ourselves!
oh yeah on humid!, we got 11" rain from Christobal storm & hot now. swimming when go out door. those cool looking hens to incubate. place looking good. we have 5 fig trees; 2 are huge. 1 is probably 20+ yrs old. peacock hid good. Missed Peaches
Goth chickens 😆 just caught that ! My old man would say I don’t call you son cause you shine I call you son because your mine 😂 Every time when someone says son that pops in my head 😆
trim the lower branch's on the fig tree and it will grow taller. when i was young we had a fig tree and the branches were 8 inches in diameter with smooth bark and i would spend hours playing climbing in that tree!! so nice to watch your channel!! keep up the cool content! from san diego a thank you
My kids named al our chickens. We have one almost identical to cc that the kids call sprinkles. She’s sitting on eggs atm so we are super excited to see baby chicks soon :-)
Ayam cemani di sini banyak banget. Di hutan juga banyak. Kakekku punya satu jantan dan 3 betina dirumahnya. Kalau digoreng, daging ayam cemani tetap hitam
Wow, I’ve seen the black chickens before and they will be a great addition to your many chickens. I’m sure Mary Carl is excited. Yummy yum yum; I love figs too.
We saw one of these for the first time last month at a friend's farm and it was BEAUTIFUL! Not sure we'd spend any money to order some, but it would be cool to have one for sure!
Maybe a good name for your turkey build could be The strutting hut , kinda in memory of your loved ones saying. I cannot believe how Mary Carl has grow into a beautiful little lady. Love watching your videos and the 3 of you. Thank you for sharing with us.
I have mine in the incubator right now Jason. I hear this is a tricky hatch? I’m fairly experienced with hatching. Unfortunately the eggs I have were pretty dirty
You may need to wake up the fig tree with a little tapping around the bottom of the trunk. Can’t wait to see the solid black chicken. I hope you marked the area so you can find Ozella faster. Absolutely love love y’alls videos. God bless.
Have you done a video on how to do cuttings of a fig tree? I love figs too and have several trees. I would love to learn how to do the cuttings from someone who has done it successfully.
Omgosh I love that saying... and it is great! The way Mary Carl is getting chickens shes going to have every breed soon 😆 Hate humidity I'd need an ice pop IV😆😆 Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
ALWAYS so happy to see a video up. Love seeing all the chickens, & ducks + all your critter. I was wondering why they face the wall in the coop. Can Mary Karl explain that one to me? Was thinking you should try feeding your fig some of your super juice. I wouldn't think they'd be heavy feeders? Looking forward to your Hydrangers. Do they bloom early in your heat & humidity? Thanks. You guys are the best 😊
If we asked my grandfather where he was going he would always say " To Guinea Gauze where they eat hogs eyes, ears, nose and all " 😂😂😂 When someone asks me it's the first thing I think about. Y'all don't let Peaches read this comment she might get offended. 😂
🤣🤣🤣 Dad sayings stick with a person. Every time I see a bird flying in the sky the saying my dad said always strikes me! Let me see if I can pass this thing onto you too. LOL "Birdy birdy in the sky doodee doodee in my eye Boy! Ain't you glad cows can't fly?!?" Perhaps hanging a nesting box for them in the goat area might help? Or do you think the goats would then just grab and eat the eggs?

My kids named al our chickens. We have one almost identical to cc that the kids call sprinkles. She’s sitting on eggs atm so we are super excited to see baby chicks soon :-)
Happy you were able to track down ozela (sp?). I agree with others saying flags or flagging tape, or maybe paint the top of that broken tree stump.
Love all the chickens. Mary Carl you do a great job with your chickens. I cannot wait to see the Ayams hatch.
I’m excited about all your animals! I never worried about my kids but I am slightly worried about Ozella. I forget. Where does Thomas sleep?
Try pinching the end buds on that fig tree, it will start figs shortly after. June is the best time to pinch. Good luck!

Just ordered a hat and decal... so stoked!!!

When I did out bath the shower was last in my list too and man do I hate cutting trim
Missed seeing Mrs Cog Hill. I'd tie something red around that broken tree to help spot it faster. Great video.
What an amazing life for a little girl!
Enjoy this video, u ought to consider pasting a chicken variety poster on the wall in the chicken coop too. 😁
I love hearing Scott. We had pea fowl on the farm growing up. You have the most beautiful chickens (or Mary Carl has, that is). Love your channel.
Love my cream legbars!! Just hatched 10 chicks.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Appreciate y'alls channel, good information and wholesome entertainment.
Awesome video, how is the new emu egg doing? Keep on going guys!🤛🏼🤛🏾
Hard to say at this point but hopefully we will know something soon 👍👍👍
I love figs. A small piece if spicy sausage, some strong cheese, a slice of fig and boom magic in your mouth. So good.
OMG those Ayam chickens are awesome looking!
I have mine in the incubator right now Jason.
I hear this is a tricky hatch? I’m fairly experienced with hatching.

Brilliant, love the black chickens , are there any breeds left to add to Mary’s collection xx
Figs can take up to 7 years to produce their first fruit. :) Happy Growing!
Love your channel, tie something on the trees so you can find mama peacocks nest easily
I want a Rooster of that breed! They are gorgeous!
Love figs just wish I could grow them in my area.
Loved the shirt Jason! Mine is on the way. Better mark you a trail to your hen.
I thought to myself why wouldn’t you name the chickens-of course you do! Who doesn’t? That’s normal right? Love ❤️
Hi Mary Carl! I hv a black on black on black hen, and am in SETexas.
Best to you in your hatching.🐣
That's awesome I've been waiting on y'all to get some of them black roosters they are one of my favorites
That's too funny, I just took a garden popsicle break:) mine was a rocket pop!
😎
If we asked my grandfather where he was going he would always say " To Guinea Gauze where they eat hogs eyes, ears, nose and all " 😂😂😂
When someone asks me it's the first thing I think about.
Y'all don't let Peaches read this comment she might get offended. 😂
Ask Mary Carl if she has heard of the death layer chicken? I want some. The black Chickens are going to be cool.
I bought myself a green stalk and it is planted with strawberries. i used your code .
Yay!!!! You’re gonna love it & get ready for some strawberry shortcake 😉
🤣🤣🤣 Dad sayings stick with a person. Every time I see a bird flying in the sky the saying my dad said always strikes me! Let me see if I can pass this thing onto you too. LOL
"Birdy birdy in the sky

Perhaps hanging a nesting box for them in the goat area might help? Or do you think the goats would then just grab and eat the eggs?
Thanks
I just love your family!
So cool! Their bones are black?!?!
❤️♾
My mom had a volunteer fig that never produced. It's been in the ground for 8 years.
I am thinking that one I have may not. And my best guess is lack sunlight
Y’all got me out here naming all my chickens!
Mary Carl you have the most unusual chickens.
Good luck on the hatching
Jason did you ever find out what to do with the automatic chicken door?
I actually had a phone conversation with them today & they want me to try somethings 👍
Tell Mrs. Coghill that I’m a 74 year old grandma and I can smell when a snake is close by or has been close by also. I’ve always been able to also.
