Trading bots are mostly scams... but there are exceptions. You just need a lot a patience to backtest and run many bots, discard the ones that are scams and keep playing with the ones that are good. EDIT: since so many of you ask, yes I use Galileo FX. .
The most important changes in any EA is a good stop loss. Fix the stop loss to 20 pips or what your account can stand. Then let it try and mess up.
The fact that you used a live account for this project is mind blowing.

The Ea was coded with martingale strategy, it's the most common strategy using for EA out there,,, but it's usually ends in loses, it can perform well for months or years, and then wipe out the whole profits and capital in one or two days.
The years of profit is ok.

This is interesting! There is a way of stopping the EA from taking any trades when there are fundamentals but the strategy (Martingle) is too risky for small accounts. I think the developer should try reverse martingle and have a drawdown limit to avoid giving back all the profits to the market. Also daily targets would really save people lots of money.

There are excellent EAs. Kojo, based on what you indicated about increasing the lot size when the market seems to be against you, it will almost certainly be a Martingale or Grid EA. Martingale or Grid method will BLOW your account. I built my own EA based on Price action and some unique custom indicators with a 70% win rate .

But I see you are missing it somewhere.
Firstly, this is my 3yrs of using EA and the experience is awesome. Your experience is because of your settings.
I use forex fury V4 and based on my experience with this EA I'm advising you to do the following:
On "Incremental Lot Size" chose false. What this do for you is that you will be the one to choose your lot size.
secondly, on martingale Strategy, choose false. This will make the robot not to add to your loses.
then finally, only choosing ranging market instead of breakout.
Make sure your robot trade both long and short, ok.
How many trade does it trade in a day? does it repeat it?
One more thing, how long do your robot trade for you -- 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs etc. it is not always good for your robot to be in the market all through the day.
these are some of the futures you get in forex fury. I started with their v3 and it now upgraded to V4 and v5.
check it out on trust pilot and see what people are saying about forex fury.
the only downside for forex fury is that it doesn't come cheap. gold package for $229 and diamond package $429.
Out side the price, forex fury is the best EA you can lay your hands on.

Your ea uses exponential Lot by increasing lot if trend goes against. My own uses linear Lot and maintain only one and it the best ea to minimize risk.

It is Martin galing. Since you found the fault which is nice. This means you only allow it trade the markets when there is no high impact news. I mean you only activate it after checking fundamentals and switch it off when there is news basically trade sessions with no news. I would also suggest you only use to trade a particular session say only NY. My perspective though.
This way you can measure its progress. Also the moment the overlap ends for NY close it and allow it run only when the news for the session has dropped. Why? The bias for the New York session is always defined and without news it just follows one direction with tons of LQ

I think the EA you chose for growing your account is a very bad one, you chose an EA using martingale strategy which is considered risky due to it doubles lot inorder to recover losing trades. There are many EA's, with news filter that are less risky and exponentially grow your account with time and the one you used is not one of them.
