Definitely noticed that if you're leaning back on the left stick, it greatly improved the rear wheel traction. Like do it before releasing the cluth and it makes the boost stronger. Left stick forward in the air lets you float longer, and holding back in the air drops it faster on the landing. Forward on the left stick seems to make the rider stand, and back on the left stick makes him sit.
This is amazing thank you!! I’ve been playing this game for a few days (never played mx games before). I’m wanting to learn pro physics/manual because auto is just frustrating sometimes but I was wrecking so much. The game feels completely different now. Think I need to try button shifts because the sticks feel awkward when also trying to lean and steer as well….
They actually fixed the automatic transmission. I contacted them about that bs and they fixed it best they could , it's definitely a lot better than it was , I've always played mx vs ATV with auto , cause of reflex . But I can stand the x and A buttons for shifting I'd rather x and B and that isn't an option so I just stick with auto
Great video, need all the help I can get, coasting into the corners really helped out, keep up the vids, supercross is tuff to get timing down, need more practice
Decent video…I like the tune…I just use the level 3 on the sticky web tires. Maybe elaborate more on the handling the bike in the air…how you throw it out, and bring it back…maybe the gas brake, as well as the stick combinations…this would be helpful. You can also reverse the preloads…opposite on one as you would normally do. Instead of holding back on right stick and slinging it forward you can hold up, and pull it back which the other stick runs opposite to what you are doing…it is a good way to scrub height on jumps as well, as a last minute “caught off guard” way to quickly adjust your preload jump…great video though…just subscribed.
I guess people really do have preferences. I use to run this type of tune, but for me i like precision riding at the cost of not being fast and the bike being slidey. But great video.
Yeah the game definitely has preferences, a lot of people don’t run the suspension all the way stiff but that’s how I like to run it and has helped me 🤙 thanks for watchin !

I played mx vs ATV unleashed on ps2 and now I'm here trying to learn legends and it's so different. I feel like an idiot not being able to turn or launch off jumps. I can't build up enough speed to clear anything. It's so frustrating I feel dumb. Lol
Tips on which brake to use. because for some reason pressing either brake make my rider fly over the handle bar, that should happen pressing the rear brake
I actually never use the rear brake man! To me it’s waaay to unreliable and just doesn’t track right with the bike. I do early braking and coast into corner, or brake late and clutch boost in middle of corner
I’m pretty quick but I love to race in the Ktm 250 2 stroke but I have learned so much from your video thank you so much!! Question tho do you think I can be as quick on a 2 stroke or is 4 strokes quicker I just never seem to have the power in the 4 stroke bug all the pros in the game ride them is why I’m asking! Thank you!
I’d say to lean forward a bit more when taking off or when using a big clutch boost In a corner or off a wall jump, lean with the right stick upward and half throttle, with the update you have to use half throttle a bit more on tight or slow sections
Dude in the 125 class stuff ai whoops my ass especially in the rhythm races. The preloading/seat bouncing combo seems to slow me down ill hit jumps the same speed as ai and theyll rocket like 40ft past me as i case the jump it gets pretty frustrating. Ive been playing these games since ps2 atv offroad fury too so its not like im some newb. Any tips on jumping and rhythms would be appreciated
So you can scrub but preload at the same time.. when you scrub try tapping the clutch on the lip of the ramp and moving your left stick forward.. this will clutch boost you and with also preload your suspension.. on rhythms I find landing right on the lip of the landing is key to carrying speed, also the cornering helps out in a rhythm more than you’d think.. staying a gear higher and ripping an outside and help set up for scrubs or big lines better
@@ThinkRazor gotcha, i think im bringing the older games preloading into play here and not using it correctly. Just frustrating when the dude next to you launches way past you when youre doing the same speed going off the same jump lol. Thanks for the reply man!

@@ThinkRazor I do appreciate you trying to help tho. I use the tuning settings it helped some I will say that I at least made progress in the story it’s just the inconsistency I have on some of these tracks is mind blowing….
@@footballvillan56 I haven’t played much of the career, I remember back on reflex I could wreck all the Mx races but the atv and utv I’d lose by 30 secs.. I’m not sure how they regulate the AI
stiff 3 for mx and sx or just sx bc i just put soft 3 for m susoension and ran way faster times on sx but not mx
I use stiff 3 for Mx and Sx, especially after the most recent update!
I'm gonna switch from button shifting to joystick shifting. I've been pulling back on right, pushing up on left, and that may be messing me up. After watching this, i feel like I'm going to go kick BlakeWopo's ass like the good old days. Thx Razor.👊
Haha go get ‘em 😂🤙
Stupid question but how do you use a manual transmission?
@@tommys2979 I usually use 2nd-3rd gear for corners and say 3rd for ramps.. you can watch my vids too see where and when I shift
@@ThinkRazor how do you change settings from auto to manual trans is what im asking?
@@tommys2979 gotcha, I’m setting go to control I think and from there you should be able to see the manual option, I use the thick stick option instead of the button

More videos please
Will be doing an updated tips vid soon
Bruh how do I get the camera you didn’t explain it
First tip: “delete the game and get a real game called Mx bikes” you guys are welcome
If only it was on ps5
Or Xbox
You finally did it bro lol Thanks
Hahaha my bad it took awhile 😂
@@ThinkRazor lol it’s good that you waited though cause the physics did change
Thank you so much
This might be embarrassing to ask, however I'm new to this game. Tried finding vids on how to properly land jumps when I get big air..but haven't had Any luck. So my question is how to land jumps when i get big air? If anyone could lmk or give me any tips on how to land big jumps successfully I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Try the stiff 3 suspension and make sure your landing on a good downside of a landing! Over jumping or under jumping will pop you off the bike very easily
@@ThinkRazor sorry for the late response, but I wanted to ask you what I can do to prevent me from landing short on jumps that have a long distance between the ramps? I tend to land on the front side of ramps when there's a huge gap in between them. Sometimes I will get to much momentum and kver jump aswell. Would greatly appreciate it..if you could give me some tips or possible me understand what I'm doing wrong.
You try my bikes?
I haven’t man! I’m getting a pc very soon here and I’ll be making some videos on that too!
@@ThinkRazor fun as hell but whole different feeling from all these.
RAZOR COME BACK! Please
Man I don’t know what game to post or play, legends just isn’t doin it for me no more, believe me I miss makin videos
@@ThinkRazor glued to it man I can’t put this ho down, but I also don’t have a pc like you do 😂 miss the vibes you brought around man. Some of these kids are wack af💀😂
@@NotGettinHatch I hear you homie, and I appreciate it too dude, yeah those kids are kinda the reason I left as well, was getting way to toxic and the tournaments weren’t as fun as they used to be. But I’ll try and muster up the courage to return for some vids

You said run manual mode. I’m faster in automatic and beat most ppl that play on manual. And we still hit all the same stuff🤷🏼♂️
To a certain point it will work but if you want to drop those lap times even more trust me man, it is waaay faster! the gap on lap times on the top competitive level from auto to manual is huge
@@ThinkRazor idk about that I have a 1:42.35 on the new thunder valley and been seeming “pros” get like 1.45. Idk that’s just mean. I’m 10x slower when manual mode is on. But 20x faster when it’s off. I’ve tried it but can’t get no where close to the lap times I already have
@@EnvyonTHC aye whatever work then homie 🔥 that’s a really good time! The best I can set is a high 42, it’s definitely something hard to get use to playing with, maybe with recent updates then tuned the auto better
This game is to easy. Any one can hop on this game and rip like a pro try a real game MX Bikes
You say that but try and ride with the top guys, you’ll get lapped guaranteed 🤷♂️ and it’s meant to be easy 😂😂 it’s an arcade game big man
I’m pretty quick but I love to race in the Ktm 250 2 stroke but I have learned so much from your video thank you so much!! Question tho do you think I can be as quick on a 2 stroke or is 4 strokes quicker I just never seem to have the power in the 4 stroke bug all the pros in the game ride them is why I’m asking! Thank you!
Unfortunately yes the 450s are a lot faster but the 2strokes aren’t to get behind! They take way more skill for sure but for the overall speed the 450s will carry you around the track way better
@@ThinkRazorthanks so much for the reply bro I’ll try it out I’ve been so fast on 250 2 stroke because I’m better with the clutch and stuff but I will definitely try it out thank you bro!!
