A+ for accessory choices, love the overall look. I would suggest wearing the hat at a jaunty angle to show it off, like Safiya in her Colonial Williamsburg outfit. Based on the shirt and collar you were wearing at the beginning, I assumed Classic immediately. Your interest in historic clothing just confirmed it for me cause I'm the same way (literally was bingeing Bernadette Banner before this). And I kinda wonder with your love for suits, what you think about Ouji style?
I thought about Ouji, but most of my cosplays are young boy characters, so I’d rather lolita be my chance to dress girly. More of a reflection of the real me and not a costume. I’m not opposed to an ouji coord but it’d have to really leave me…shook ahaha
Really like the editing in this video, very professional, your skills are coming along well. Personally, I tend to lean Classic, but, mix in some Sweet whenever, because I am always aiming for that ideal of the 90s lolita scene.

I personally would’ve loved it with your short hair but maybe something more subtle for the hat. Maybe tuck the ribbon into the hat and pin the hat to your head. I am looking forward to your growth with Lolita fashion. This is an amazing start!
Ah that’s a good tip for the hat! I was so in love with the idea of tying a ribbon under my chin that I didn’t think of that. I’ll have to see about ways to wear lolita without a wig. And thank you! Sadly after this video, my financial situation changed which left me with less room to experiment with lolita. But! I did manage to get another dress before that which is on my video list to do a coord for.
It was really fun to follow along your journey and to your first coord! Overrall it looks nice, im really curious to see what kind of coords you come up with in the future

Also sub styles are not too cut-throat. You can wear classic with darker elements, such as darker outerwear or accessories or a darker colorway.
