- So I'd seen something on either UA-cam #shorts or #facebook #reels and they cooked a #steak in boiling water for 10 minutes and then #seared it in a pan with seasoning, So me being me I thought I'd give it a go lol 😆 for the very first time on camera as I usually do. Well let's just say I've got some new Boots

Chris im gutted it work out for you, but the reason you used bovril the salt in those have basiccly cured it theres no need to season the steak afterwards because its already done, the temps
Very Rare to Rare120°F (49°C) to 128°F (53°C)1 to 2 1/2 hours
Medium Rare129°F (54°C) to 134°F (57°C)1 to 4 hours
Medium135°F (57°C) to 144°F (62°C)1 to 4 hours
Medium-Well145°F (63°C) to 155°F (68°C)1 to 3 1/2 hours follow these and it will never under or over cook,

Be better if you marinated the steak in bovril rather than boil the hell outta it.
You need to try Dale's steak seasoning. I got some from the US ....it's a game changer !!

Ten minutes in the boiling water, it was overcooked at that point, then fried it, should have known better being a butcher, but then again the word butcher could mean you really cocked that up big time Chris.🤣🤣

Sorry chris nothing to do with the video but can you get big sirloin steaks because my local butchers used to sell 3 massive sirloin steaks for 16 quid i brought 4 tiny steaks for 18 quid asked the question he said they have never sold big sirloin steaks i dont think he liked questioning the size of he steaks even though i still brought them the wanker😂

Can you try cooking bacon using tin foil and an iron please?😂you could maybe even put an egg in an empty crisp packet with some boiling water and make some sausages using the iron and you could make a little breakfast

You needed to get it into a sealed plastic bag (with the OXO) and GENTLY HEAT - keeping at around 55 degrees C for an hour. Then fry.

Its very rare you fuxk up. I think you fucked up royally with that Chris. Id have rubbed the Bovril into the steak with oil n just fried for 3 minutes a side. Itd be lovely that way.
