- I am finally able to share with you what I think of Warcrow: Winds from the North. In the video I look at the miniatures, the terrain, the playbook and how the game plays. I will share with you what I praise and criticise about the game and what you get with this set and I hope you enjoy the video.
A pdf of the rules for Warcrow can be found at warcrow.com/
Can't wait for my preorders and kickstarter to arrive
Awesome. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I have.
Fantastic review! Been following the development of this game and can't wait for my preorder to come in!
Thank you! I have also ordered the Beyond Winds of the North set and cannot wait to play some bigger games with it! Enjoy your copy!
Great in-depth review in such a short time, thx!
I wonder why CB pushes Warcrow and at the same time create new hype for Infinity by giving it to creators and releasing N5 in October. I hope they can create enough profit for both games. I for one will focus my spending on Infinity. Can't help it.
They are certainly firing on all cylinders. I am looking forward to what N5 will bring, especially with new JSA. It is all making for very difficult decisions to be made with my wallet. I want to expand the two factions of Warcrow to have full games, but will see from there. Glad you enjoyed the video btw!
Zombie love this review. I have already pre preferred my copy and have already warned my wallet of things to come
Haha! Me too! Really want that Beyond set to get some bigger games in.
Underrated channel. JFC that was such a well produced vid
You are very kind, and made my day ❤
Thank you for the well produced and clear review!
Thank you. I tend to be someone who rambles, so one aim was to keep this review focused (as much as I am able to keep things focused!🤣)
Really great video, new subscriber here! I just finished assembly of this box myself. I ended up using a sharp knife to slice most of the mold lines, and that works decently well. I had the same experience with that big chunky orc having some bad gaps (for me the gaps all ended up on his shoulder). Other than that the characters seem really cool! I still don't understand wtf is goin on with those crazy dice, but I'll keep trying to understand them!! 🙂
@@GoobertownHobbies Holy cow! You are one of my favourite UA-camrs! Thanks so much for checking out the channel and subscribing! The dice take a moment, but once you do get your head around them, they are great. Enjoy painting the miniatures!
I’m assembling mine now and the gaps on the multiparty minis is horrible! The detail is great but I’m going to have to use a lot of green stuff on some of those Orcs! I still don’t like Siocast!
I’d like to know what brand of superglue you’re using as mine (Selleys) takes ages to bind.
@@owenglover4170 I normally use the small tubes of loctite liquid, and I use bsi activator to speed things up if I'm in a hurry:-)
@@GoobertownHobbies I’ve never thought of using that! Thanks!
@@owenglover4170 I use little clamps to hold things together while it's curing too- good luck!
Very nice! I like it :) less biased then other reviews I have seen/read so far.
@@robertchmielecki2580 thank you. I am hyped about the game, but try to be objective where I can.
A very well made Review. Are all the unit cards available on the internet? What if i also get a Spanish card xD
@@Zweihaender the unit cards from the starter set are currently available in the Warcrow press kit that is available publicly. Eventually there is going to be an app that has everything released so far and I imagine they will release the profiles publicly as units are released. All cards are double sided with English on one side and Spanish on the other.
Reminds me of Warcry. And that's a good thing!
I haven't played Warcry, but I would be interested to try.
@@ZombieSashimi Best thing about Warcry is player base. Because the game is not competitive, it is most chill Warhammer game. Players generaly allow huge conversions and proxies in games, as well as crazy battlemaps and terrains!
Thank you very much for the good review. I ordered mine some weeks ago. But, oh boy, this mould lines are a no go for me, this turns me off. Lets see how it is when holding the miniatures in hand.
It was a bit of a bother when putting them together, but nothing crazy bad. I have had worse miniatures when putting them together and now I have them all painted they look great. I have quickly forgotten about any difficulties I had lol. 😂
@@ZombieSashimi I had the issue qith Mantic a couple of years ago. Didnt finished the models. I hope I have more patient this time. Seems worth it. Thank you again.
@@TheSchuster76 The models are beautiful and worth a little struggle. :D
