What a super show this was. Excellent writing, great acting, exciting action, sword fights and chases, mystery and mysticism, plus a strong sense of history, atmosphere and setting. Wonderful music by Clannad too. And the whole thing was family-friendly with no snarky political agenda pushing.

Well, in germany the episodes were heavyly cutted due to the mysticism, many years later when I bougth the english dvds I noticed how much we missed.
