- In today's WAR THUNDER video, we take out the GOAT. The greatest fighting vehicle the world has ever seen: The Bradley! I might be a bit biased as I did serve on the Bradley during my service in the Army. It is a vehicle that will always have a special place in my heart!

Great video. When I was in the MC, they loaded us on a C-130 that landed on a dry lake bed at Hood at night. We went through a familiarization week on 113s and M901 ITV vehicles. It was great fun firing the TOWs at night with NVD, even though they were the MILES versions and not the real thing.
Awesome story! I may have only been on it for a short time in the grand scheme of my life...but the memories will last forever!
The bradleys were the sole reason i started grinding for the US ground tree! I cant really explain my love for it

Great job as always, thank you brother. General Bradley was an amazing General. I think the best of WW2. No bull crap kinda guy, just get the job done as best as possible. I think they couldn't come up with a better name for this vehicle. I would love to here more of your stories sometime.
Thanks! General Bradley did have a hard time of keep Patton from acting out so for that alone he had to be cool, calm, and collected! I love the Brad so much.

I love the Bradley, especially in Warthunder. Its a damned pleasure to use after suffering through the trash at America tier 5
It is a little rough to play sometimes. But being able to utilize the commander sight is vital to being able to have games where you don't want to punch the screen!🤣
My dad was part of the armored cavalry in desert storms, he was mostly just a mechanic but he really loved the Bradley's

I litreally love the Bradleys. Their so unique and awesome. I love their design and how they perform. They are the reason why i even started grinding Usa tech tree. Im almost there. Currently very close to M551.

That 25mm Bushmaster is such a distinctive sound. Brings a warm, fuzzy feeling to my heart. That or my high cholesterol. Funny how Gaijin nerfs the M3A3 TOW-2B (Not the Sweedish though 🙄) and brings it to 10.0, then NERFS IT AGAIN! People said the top attack was "TOO OP". Now that we have PARS Missles with top attack, everyone forgot about the TOW-2B. (Also, I wish Gaijin would add the LAV-25A1. Probably wont since its the same Bushmaster as the M3A3. Oh well, we will see.
Nothing satisfies me more than TOW kills over objects lol. Invading and enemies "safe" space lol

Got nothing but respect for the Bradley both in WT and IRL. IFV's are absolutely terrifying when used properly. Especially if said IFV happens to have good coms, optics, mobility, and weaponry. While Bradley may be getting old and in need of replacement, Ukraine has given her a chance to go down swinging.
Well we will see if the Russians took notice of its abilities compared to the T-72 from the Gulf in the early 90s! I think I am more interested in the Tow against new missile interruption systems.
@@RoneK_Actual It would certainly be interesting to see how TOW fares against more modern APS. Especially hard-kill APS's. If they can intercept TOW, perhaps not other ATGM's like Javelin (angle of attack). Either way, most of Russia's stuff they're deploying now is a couple generations behind their latest stuff as far as the tech inside them goes. TOW-2A should tear 90% of armor you see in Ukraine in half.
With that being said, a vehicle is only as good as its crew! I wouldn't want to be on the reviewing end of a TOW. The Syrian Civil War videos against tanks is terrifying.
@@RoneK_Actual Oh certainly. You can have the best armor on planet earth with the best optics, the best ammunition, the best fire control systems, and top notch speed. But if the crew gets easily tunnel visioned, they'll quickly reach the "Find Out" stage

I definitely try to incorporate my own experiences into the game. I attribute that to why I am so patient and never get too aggressive when I play.

A tip for ridge line firing if you don’t have enough depression to avoid making awkward maneuvers, set your sights distance control all the way max depressed,the missile will launch straight up in the air but will come back down and follow your reticle
For some reason I've never thought of that.....that's a great tip! Thanks!
@@RoneK_Actual another tip: if you use your binocs u can peek over ridge lines without depression and still gudie the missle. Other tips: when u use ess (the engine smoke) u can see through it via thermals. Also be sure to use your scout drone more. One fianal tip, when you revers using the bradlies, you can travel at 14 k/m and still keep ur launcher up (helps for urban envorments). Happy to find someone else who thinks that the bradley is good, becuase it sure is good.

That’s a shame since I’ve been in a Bradley, and I got stuck in it between the turret and the left hull, it’s so damn small in that thing (at least the M2 Brad) that idk how u, a 6 foot or whatever u said, can fit in there 😂😂😂

EDIT:Yeah i know bradley thermal is red but most common western is green

The shooting over ridgelines is a tactic I think most people are too stupid to use. People complain about Russia at top tier but I think the problem is that people don't use NATO vehicles to their full potential. Russian gameplay style is good at the lowest common denominator press W, but if people knew how to go hull down and use that turret depression I think the win rates would be a bit more balanced.
I think there is a large portion of the playerbase that just wants W key and click gameplay and they don't get that, they cry. Using the CIV to loop tows over ridges is easy and not too hard to learn if players would just try.

Went I went from the Marines to Army, I trained up on Strykers and Brads.... and was sent to an ultralight trucks only unit. Looks like I missed out on the cool shit.
Everything has its ups and downs! I think my knees benefited the most from being mounted lol.

No it shouldn't have. It also shouldn't be as dog shit as portrayed. I mean if the gunner doesn't have to stand up out of the turret to fire the atgm from the bmp1/2 why should you have to deploy your tow launcher? Also the tow2b does not perform correctly
The tow launcher in game actually raises about 5-10 seconds faster than it does in real life. And it raises while you are moving which is also incorrect. But if the vehicle was completely realistic, I am sure so many people would moan. I don't think it is too bad at 9.7 honestly, if you play it like is was designed then it really isn't a big deal. I just get droned more often then not.
@@RoneK_Actual if you play it like designed you will lose every match. More so than America does at these br brackets. My whole point is that the tow launchers should just be deployed the same way a bmp2 is with its atgm able to be fired without the gunner scrambling out of the hatch first. I dont care about historical accuracy. I care about game balance and the sedentary gameplay of a Bradley is its downfall more often than not. And since drones and su25s were added its become magnified. Beinf able to shoot and scoot would infinity improve the effectiveness of the Bradley and make it in line with the main competitors. You're still the slowest, tallest, and have the least potent cannon but you have the commander sight that gives you a unique advantage. The same should go for the bill which would make its higher br placement less annoying though it still out classes the dardo and Bradley.
