Thank you, just what I needed. You make it look easy but I know it isn’t; can I ask what type of solder you use, is it silver solder or standard soft (plumbers) solder? This is a great little channel and you deserve more subscribers, thank you for taking the time to film and post.

Excellent tailstock alignment. Does the pinion need to be remembered again??
You have to line the pinion up with the arbor and the brass gear.
The new pivot has to be concentric with the pinion and the brass gear.

We use soft solder (plumbers) . Use c-flux by Rectorseal. Thanks
